Has anyone reported any weight gain or bloating with this product?

I had a holistic doctor have me start taking this. I was gaining weight even though I wasn't eating fatty foods. She had me tested for Cortisol levels throughout the day. Mine was ski high. I was near hyper thyroid. My hair was falling out and I lost my eyebrows from the stress hormone. I started taking this three years ago. She noted my Cortisol levels start out low in the morning and rise during the day. So I take two in the morning, at lunch, and one at dinner. I had gone from 175lbs down to 130! My eyebrows and hair have grown back too. I stopped taking it last year and started gaining weight and lost my eyebrows again. So, now I will keep taking this. I've already have my eyebrows back and lost 10lbs. It amazing in a few months. I have had no side-effects. I am post-menopausal 64 years old. I have lots of energy too.

Does this have pig gelatin in the capsule? What source is it from?

Good afternoon! Here is the list of ingredients: Berberine Hydrochloride. Berberine HCl is purified from Berberis vulgaris. Cellulose, capsule shell (gelatin and water) and magnesium stearate (vegetable source). This product is gluten, dairy and GMO free.

Please advise of the expiration date on this product. thank you.

Regarding the answer from January 2016. The answer says the current date was March 2017. Also, dried herbs can indeed "go bad" -- i.e., their potency can diminish or completely disappear. Some sooner than others. Also, some dried herbs can grow mold and bacteria if not properly dried, processed and stored.
