We kept our fingers crossed when we ordered these that they would be good quality and not garish. Our expectations were exceeded:They don't run in the wash, or shrink in the washer-dryer.The colours a vibrant and true without being garish, and the effect is really very attractive.The bedding's very soft - unexpectedly so, as I was initially concerned that it seemed less fluffy than I'd imagined. After washing, we made up the bed and found the bedding astonishingly comfortable and cosy.The ties at the top inside corners of the duvet cover are really useful. I've put grommets in the top corners of the duvet to allow us to tie it in, and that works brilliantly. You could stitch a buttonhole, but grommets take seconds.The zip closure is simple genius: WHY IS THIS NOT STANDARD?? For those of us with fine motor skills problems (in my case, down to chronic illness), buttoning up the bottom of the duvet can take ages; the zip closure makes it easy for anyone of any physical ability.We both held our breaths when we bought this set, as it's very expensive for us. However, the quality is such that we decided to blow our anniversary/Christmas budget for our gifts to each other on 2 more sets from this range and a brushed cotton fitted sheet. No going back now.

Very comfortable and a nice quality material. Very strong although the zip seems a bit flimsy - only time will tell. The only complaint I have is that the duvet cover is about 12 inches too long. This means that a long flap of the cover drapes over the end of my bed. Too trivial to return it but a little bit annoying for an otherwise excellent product which is why I've only given it 4 stars.

The quality on this is excellent. It has a lovely soft feel and washes really well, with no colour run. Perfect.

Although it was expensive, it is a super soft high quality cotton an the most comfortable duvet cover I have ever slept under. Also if you love bright bold colours then this is for you.

Really pleased with this. Only washed once so far but comes up really well. The zip fastener is good. Pillow cases lovely size and don’t shrink. The colours are vibrant and the material is thick and super soft. I highly recommend.

Look great on the bed, but are very warm when you are under the quilt
