Lee Precision90244 .30-30 Winchester Classic Loader

I ordered this for a replacement (replacement parts would cost more separately) for a .30-30 kit I got about 15 years ago that rusted together. These kits are great for starting out or if you're going out to camp. My old data is different than the listed new data(picture #2, new data on left) as a 4 grain reduction in the new printing for my loads. Besides the components, you will need a hammer. I also use a small sheet of gasket material so as not to damage my bench top. This only sizes the case neck, so sharing between other "tools" may or may not feed properly. You will have to see how deep to seat your components as it is not totally set out of the box.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Works great when you want to keep that ammo box topped off or just want a few custom loads come hunting season. It's not fast by any means but is made to be able to take it with you anywhere & reload a few rounds when the need arises.

If you have time to reload this is a inexpensive option.

This is a great tool for the new reloader. They are simple and more importantly FUN! I also use them to neck size and then load on my conventional press for volume reloading.

Only thing I can say I dislike is the little red box that the kit comes in could have been slightly bigger with a couple of hinges on one side so it would be a little bit more convenient and practical for everyday usage and Easy Storage

This is a great starter kit. Its comes in a nice hard plastic case and the items inside are all quality products and the instructions are very clear. I only have the 30-30 kit so I dont know if all of the dippers are identical or not, but this one is stamped 1.9CC on the side which depending on your powder is anywhere from 26 to 29 grains of powder. One thing i do suggest is getting a long spout funnel to feed your powder through; just because with my loader powder has been falling through a small gap between the case lip and the die. When that happens powder tends to stick between the case and the inner walls of the die making it difficult to extract the finished cartridge. It should also be noted that you want a very solid surface to use this on, i started on a table in my shop which wobbles a bit and i soon moved to my anvil and i was able to spend less time pounding and more time finishing cartridges. All things considered this is a fine product that i recommend to to anyone who wants to try reloading.

Seems counter intuitive to wack a bullet with a mallet. It works.
