Love this little black light. I bought it to identify any urine spots left on my area rugs that might have been left by my fur babies. It did a great job of highlighting the spots that did not show up on the carpet. I always clean any spots up right away, but had a little yorkie staying that did like to mark sometimes. She was so little that you could barely see where she went unless caught in the act, but this black light picked up all the little spots, so I could address it with cleaner. Light is bright, but flashlight is not too big.

Ordered and quickly received the light and in good condition. I put the 3 AA batteries in and switched it on. Something must’ve been wrong with it because it wasn’t working properly. I think they got stuff on the lens or something because everywhere I pointed it I was seeing spots on everything. It’s funny how they got the dumb light to show spots that seem to be no higher than 18” or so. I kept looking for the spots on the lens but I couldn’t see anything. Hmmm…. How do they get it to do that? Incredible! So I assume the light is defective in some way. I know it can’t be the 8 kitties that are running around the house. They are good little angels and never do anything wrong so it can’t be them.All kidding aside, the light works all too well and the result is more shocking than I had expected. I’m not a happy camper with the results but not at the light. It definitely makes a statement about piss poor pussycats. So I suggest that after purchasing this light you may want to consider buying a steam cleaner to douche your home! May I suggest a “Neat” little steamer like the one we bought from Duprey via Amazon and we love to use, but now it’s going to get some more serious usage today and for the next few days. Yuck! This light is going to show up a whole new world of things when you switch it on. BEWARE….. I WARN YOU! You can never un-see what the light reveals.In closing, I will have to say that this light far exceeded my expectations of how bright it is and the range of the light. For the price I don’t think I could have found a more perfect lighting tool for revealing the unimaginable??

We just bought our house last year and I’ve shampooed the ENTIRE house multiple times, like an obsessive amount of times because the previous owners were cig smokers, anyway, they were breeding puppies too and OMG, I cannot look at the carpets the same after what I saw! This light is amazing but a horrible eye opener to the unseen. It’s a great light weight light and I would buy again

Works perfectly. It is hard to get decent photos with this, but this worked exactly as it should have. When looking at the photos, those light spots are parts where my cat has peed. I’ve used black lights previously and they don’t really show anything but this flashlight detected all the cat urine in our bedrooms. We had an issue where one of our cats came down with a medical issue and started peeing on our new carpet in two of our bedrooms. I was able to find all of the spots with the help of this black light; treated the stains with an enzyme destroyer and then cleaned the carpets with my steam cleaner. Went back over the spots with the black light and they were all gone! The cat urine smell is gone and because we used an enzyme cleaner the cat should not go back to peeing in that spot again. If you are needing a good black light to find pet stains, for $13 you can’t beat this little flash light!

It stopped working. It’s been a few years, but nothing appears to be wrong with it, I’ve changed the batteries and it still doesn’t work. It’s rarely used. Something like this should last much longer.

I was able to locate where the cat urinated on the carpet. The room did not have to be pitch black for the light to work. I was able to spot the location in the middle of the day with just the room lights turned off.
