Beautiful dishes! One dish was chipped in the shipping process. The company mailed out a replacement right away! The dishes are light weight and they are very sturdy. Many times we’ve accidentally bumped them into things, and no child or breaks! We use them for everyday dishes!

These plates have reminded me of what is so great about Corelle--for one thing the products are made in the U.S.A., which is increasingly rare. The Portofino pattern is as pretty as any of the fancier ceramic plates I have looked at. These are amazingly thin and stack up so much smaller than our other plates, also weighing so much less so they don't weigh down the cupboard. We just got them so cannot actually attest to durability (so far, great) but Corelle is famous for its durability and I do remember that being true of my grandmother's dishes years ago. Time will have to tell for that. The only possible concern I would mention for a prospective buyer is that the appetizer plates are a bit smaller than expected--almost like a teacup saucer--so if you want something a bit bigger you might want to get the salad plates instead--but the appetizer ones have a cuter design. They still hold a fair bit and are a great value! I think I am now a fan of this brand after being re-introduced to it.

I love these plates - they are light and the pattern is beautiful. Very different from the typical white correll plates everyone has. Highly recommend.

This is my first time owning Corelle dishes. Decades ago I used them at other's homes. I was really looking for something that could stack 12 plates in a small space. I bought two 6pk lunch plates and two 6pk appetizer plates. These really fit the bill. I love the design of these in the pictures from Amazon. However when I got them in the colors are not very rich. That's not a big deal for me because I still like the design and the colors. The other thing that I found to be unexpected was it's a matte finish rather than a glossy finish. I was expecting there to be a gloss over the design rather than it feeling somewhat like chalk paint. Hopefully they hold up well over time. I've only used my plates a couple of times since I received them, but I absolutely love them. They are very Compact and lightweight and I like that not each design is exactly alike. Think design on the appetizer plates are not consistent with one another as far as color but still very pretty. There are variations of saturation of color... almost like a watercolor painting. I personally like that because it makes each plate unique rather than looking mass-produced. I will be looking to see if there are other items, besides plates, in this design that I can buy.

The plates are very nice, however the box the plates were packaged in was packed in another box. There was no packing material in the large outer box. The box with the plates came open and the plates were partially out of the box. They luckily were not broken and appear to be in good shape.

Placed order on 16/7/23 & received the product on 22/7/23. The bowls were tightly packed into a thick carton box, the thick carton box was then placed into another bigger carton box, double protection!

Love how light and durable these plates are. I have very weak wrists and hands and these are perfect to hold. The blue and white pattern matches well with other blue pieces I have in the kitchen. The Portofino pattern is gorgeous without being too vivid. I’m definitely going to add to this collection.
