The company you have mentioned does license patents concerning nicotinamide riboside (NR). One is for a specific synthesis of NR (but there are many other synthesizes for NR by other companies, some are patented some are not) and the usage of NR. They still retain the claim of isolation of NR. If you look at their label they are not selling NR but instead a different molecular compound nicotinamide riboside Chloride (NRCL, CAS# 2311-00-4, not NR, CAS# 1341-23-7). Our company has a unique synthesis which is very different than the one they license. Also, at no time does our synthesis produce NR but only NRCL. NRCL immediately breaks down in the body to make NR. Also, our NRCL is over 99.5% pure. It is not known how pure this other company's product is because they do not publish this on Amazon that we know of. I hope this short answer helps.
