Razer Kitty Gaming Bundle with Basilisk Essential, Kraken X Lite, Goliathus Mobile STEALTH, Mouse Bungee V2 and Kitty Ears

I got this on sale, (£89 for the bundle).Razer seem to be an overpriced brand in general, so I was looking forward to testing these products when they were on sale.The kitty ears are thick rubber, seem to be study.Headphones (like most) can feel uncomfortable after prolonged use, but the sound quality is good and the surround sound program they integrate with the headphones is good for gaming.I can't comment on the microphone as I've not tested it. I can imagine it would be like most headset mics.The mouse is nice to hold, I have a palm grip and it is comfortable to use even in long sessions. There is options to customise the mouse on the programs you are told to install in the instructions inside the box. I've had no issues with the mouse.The mouse pad works as intended. It's a minimal design which doesn't scream 'gamer', which is a nice change.The mouse bungee can be useful to organise the wires but in my opinion it is a bit pointless.The packaging is neat and looks good as shown in the listing. However my box was sent as is - in no external box. If you intend to keep the box for collectors purposes you may need to choose to giftwrap the item first.

I was looking for a new headset when i came across this bundle.Headset - Good sound, very comfortable, lightweight without being too flimsy.Kitty ears - Optional, but I paid for them.......So im using them! Just remember to take them off before using your big boy voice in housemates disputes.Mouse - I have a mamba, so haven't used this yet but looks good and nice to have such a good spare.Bungee - Not had one of these before, but now i get it! Really like it. It will stop me fraying my cords on the edge of my glass desk and really does help control the cord to give better 'mouse-ability' (Razer, you can have that one for free).Mat - Again i use an extended Goliathus which i love, so i haven't used this full-time. Again makes a great normal sized spare. Its nice and floppy with a grippy rubber backing. Surface is smooth and has nice tracking. Price prevents it from having stitched edges, but as its quite thin this is less of an issue.I bought the bundle as a bit of a treat for myself, and a treat it was, but it would make a great entry level gamer present. Good solid items well presented at not a totally stupid price. The bungee especially would make a good gift for any level, as its useful but none of my other gamer mates have one.

Excellent quality bundle! The headset is very comfy and cute, it has great mic and sound quality. The mouse is excellent, it's so comfortable in your hand that I dont even fully realise it's there sometimes when I'm playing WoW. Mousemat seems decent and the bungee in also fab. Great gaming set, would reccomend to anyone looking for some great razer products at a cheaper price!Only downside is the headset doesnt have volume/mute controls but that's easy enough to get around with push to talk.

As far as the bundle goes it is good value for money. But if anyone like me, then you came for the headphones and everything else was a happy extra.Mouse is pretty good, no issues there, same as the bungie and ears etc.But the headphones themselves, Audio quality is not the best, and comfort is what you would expect from most cushioned headphones.But the build quality just feels cheap overall and less than 3 months in the upper band had already started to split. I do not have a big head by any means and avoid stretching at any point since my last pair of turtle beach headphones cracked by the ear. I would say within the next month or two the upperband will end up snapping and this product will be useless to me, and since it isn't sold directly through Razer, I highly doubt anything will be done about product issues past the return to seller option.**EDIT**Changing Score from 3 down to 2 stars. Headset has officiall kicked the bucket 4 months into ownership. These have no been mishandled and have been used nearly daily since purchase.3 Months in the plastic headband began to crack internally from what I assumed was tension. And now a few weeks later me being concious of this and being very delicate with the band itself have found them to be more and more unusable as it seems the weight of the earmuffs alone were dragging them off my head as the headband became looser and looser as time went on. and I take the Headphones off tonight to see that the band has fully split and when the the headphones are resized / adjusted the entire assembly slides out.Avoid this model of headphone and buy something more stable or not made from cheap plastic. Very good value for money when it was on offer for £89. The headset fits perfectly and is comfortable. The mouse is a good size and the click is not overly loud which is a plus. The mouse pad is small but is a good size if you don't want anything excessive.

Well this package is good for the essentials. Headset and mouse are alright. What i really love is the mouse bungee that is included in here makes it looks clean on the table

My son loves this bundle. Headphones are comfy, cancel out background noise and have great sound. He loves the mouse wire holder thing - not sure what it is called!! I love the cat ears!!!

So the mouse is fantastic, comes with an optional third side mouse button you can clip on as you want.The headset however is honestly very poor, it isn't very comfortable, the audio quality isn't bad, the mic quality is honestly one of the worst I have had & finally the wire is audio/mic jacked and the wire in it self is poor quality and gets tangled easily.The cat ears, Mat & bungee cord I have zero issues with.
