I couldn't be happier with these lights. When I came across these lights and saw that they can do colors instead of just your standard white light and also make them blink, I had to have them. I have run them through several tests and I am super impressed with all the results. The lighting is adjustable which is a good thing because at the highest level, these lights are super bright. they are actually blinding if you look straight into them when they're focused at your eyes. They come with built in light mode settings such as disco lights, party lights, paparazzi lights which blink like cameras and a candlelight mode. What's even better about these lights is that using the the scannable barcode you can download the phone app to control the lights even more so than from the panel. With the phone app you can change the colors and use them for uplighting to really set a room off. I plan to use that for wedding receptions and parties and then switch over to the blinking party lights once the dancing gets going. These lights in just bright white can be adjusted down to soft white for different environments when shooting photographs. This is a must-have for indoor photo shoots. In my video I show you the type of battery it takes to use these lights in an environment without electricity. To get these batteries just type in NP - f750 battery in the search bar on Amazon. Amazon sells them with the chargers and without the charger and also in the jumbo size which I show in my video. I thought the batteries would still have some charge on them when I went to do this video but they were dead. The tripods included in this set are sturdy. Once you get the hang of how to fold them up they fold up nicely. I actually fold up opposite of a speaker stand tripod that I use for DJing. But once I figured that out I was able to collapse them just fine. They come with nice pouches for the tripods so they don't touch each other in the case and get scratched. the included case fits everything perfectly with foam inserts and the outside is a soft hard shell. This set of lights has really exceeded by expectations and they are really going to up my game. If you're looking for a really good set of lights that are multifunctional, you can't go wrong with these lights. I might even use them working on my car one day because you could tilt the lights downward and point towards your engine bay. I highly recommend this light set!

This GVM lights have been a work horse for my daughter’s work …. Had them a few years now and are still working as they should.

Reviewing items like this means you have to put things into context. These are inexpensive lights, so you have to keep that in mind and manage your own expectations. Lets get this out of the way -- at their price point, there was no way they were going to be professional workhorses, and they're definitely not. A working pro would never go to these lights as their typical primary lights. They're not bright enough, and they're quite small. But I give them four stars because they are fun, spunky little lights that could serve some specialized purposes. They do have pretty high CRI and the dial is surprisingly precise, so you can get accurate color temperatures from them. Their small size makes them relatively hard lights, so they could be effective hair lights in tight quarters, especially running from battery and mounted in some nook or cranny. They could also be useful for lighting closeups in dark scenes, like campfire or fireplace scenes. The specialized features make them especially suited for that kind of thing. You can dial in just about any color of light you want, and the built-in effects such as candlelight, TV flicker, or police lights are surprisingly convincing when used in darker setups. So, for their price, pick up a pair. Pick up two pair. The carrying case is nice. The stands are nice. Everything gets its own bag within the case. Having a set or two of these around for specialized purposes may well come in handy. At the price point, you really can't go wrong.

These are the best RGB Video lights for its price range. I think that its versatility makes it worth every single cent. Stand is very sturdy and is made from high quality material. Unfortunately, it would have been Great if shipping could have been quicker. Overall a great buy and a great addition to my set up

These lights are awesome! There is so many different color options, and they are super easy use. The build quality is great, and the overall the kit provides everything you need to get started. If you want to travel without power cords, you’ll need to buy batteries for these as none are included, but for the price you get a great product!

Great lights, sturdy stands, multiple light presets (I.e. lightning storm flashing, paparazzi camera flashing, cop lights, etc), also multiple color settings, DEFINITELY worth the purchase. Self made video

the lights are amazing and comes in handy in multiple scenarios but utilizing the lights for color can be a issue since the app won’t allow you to connect to ur wifi and when it does connect the moment u got off the app or your phone screen turns off the app becomes inactive and won’t allow color change essentially making the product useless all together when it comes RGB lights side note: i did have to update my phone to get my phone to connect properly and sometimes completely restart my phone but the issue persisted i also used a second phone to test the issue

These are definitely worth the money. We bought these for our video podcast set in our basement that has very little natural light. These lights are super powerful. I love that they are easy to take down, set up, and store. I'll also be using these to photograph my children.

Strong set, great functionality, app works great with Bluetooth and doesn’t mess with the wifi. Very generous and long cables. Additional defuser is recommended.

Effects are good, but out put is not very powerful.. overall does the job good

Compré estas luces hace como un mes para unas entrevistas, le conté a un colega y él compró otro kit. Las 4 luces nos funcionaron de maravilla para crear una iluminación bastante digna. En otra ocasión también las utilizamos para ambientar una escena romántica y hace poco para reforzar las luces utilizadas en un montaje escénico. La verdad estoy muy contento con ellas. El único gran problema que les podría encontrar es que su ángulo de iluminación es muy difícil, mas no imposible, de controlar y metiéndole algunas sedas puedes lograr texturas muy bonitas en la piel. Si lo que buscas es iluminar un espacio de hasta 6x6m y un techo no más alto de 3m estas luces son una gran compra, aunque no serán las únicas que utilices, probablemente tengas que ocupar algunas luces prácticas o alguna otra de relleno para un espacio en específico que quieras resaltar. Con estas 4 estamos muy bien, aunque sí estamos pensando en buscar algún otro kit que nos permita direccionar más la luz. Otro bonus por el precio, es que traen varios efectos de iluminación, el que más me divierte es el paparazzi, que es como un estrobo. He leído que muchas personas se quejan de la app, yo no la he descargado, por lo que no sé cómo funciona, todo lo hago de manera manual y tardé como unos 10 minutos en entender el funcionamiento del menú. La verdad no recuerdo si las luces traían instructivo, tampoco es que sean super intuitivas, pero creo que cualquiera con la suficiente paciencia podrá operarlas o sino, siempre está el viejo y confiable Youtube. Seguro ahí existe un tutorial de cómo manipularlas. Les pongo 5 estrellas porque, con los resultados que hemos tenido en estos últimos videos, nuestros clientes y amigos han quedado muy satisfechos con los resultados.

Wow, these lights really are a gem. Work perfectly soft, and hard as well as low and bright. The connecting to the aps was super simple and switching between the programs on the aps was amazing. Very satisfied and happy with these lights. They stand strong, durable and in my opinion they were built with precision to give the customer a great experience. GVM lights are great.

Lights work great but the app needs you to register an account and certain permissions to even work. If your looking to cobtrol remotely look for another brand.
