Great gauge
Used this on my mustang, very easy to install. It looks good especially with the light on. Very happy for the price of this gauge. Gauge seems pretty accurate according to the scan tool I hooked up to read the factory temp sensor.

Had two ,gauges worked but had two failed senders , poorly made !

Make sure sending unit is grounded
The Gauge and sender worked perfectly with one exception.Seems the lighting on the instrument needsto be improved upon. I've purchased the Equus 8000 series voltage, oil pressure,and water temp. systemsand once you put a colored rubber boot on the instrument lighting the illumination is greatly diminished.

Works as intended
Comes with every possible thing you'll need EXCEPT the actual wiring. This is a picture with car running a 180⁰ thermostat. I'm satisfied

Works great. Make sure the part that the sender screws into is grounded!
The only strike aginst this unit is the lighting. The bulb housing that screws into the back interferes with the nut that attaches to ground, so you have to unscrew that nut in order to install the bulb. The lighting provided is incandescent, andyou can either have standard white light, or apply a green/red cover to the bulb to change the color. While this system works, it's far from ideal. The lighting is fairly faint, and you can only see it in the evening/night. Not necessarily a problem, but an LED would be a vastly superior option. I am ordering a few 12V LED's to replace the bulbs with, and that should help me get a significantly brighter gauge and expand my color selection.So overall: Great budget gauge that is a snap to install, but the back-lighting leaves something to be desired. Acceptable at this price point, and with a little electrical know-how, you can easily make this gauge the equivalent of a unit that is double the price.

Thumbs Up;
Replaced a black faced Equus Temp gauge with this white face gauge for better visibility. Also wanted it to match the new Oil press gauge I bought. Only had to mount in the bracket the black one was in and use the same wires. Same brand meant same sending unit. Came with sending unit, light assembly, and wire connectors. Now I have a spare sending unit and light assembly. No complaints;
