Works great as a phone holder
Honestly, the adhesion lasted about 3 minutes. We cleaned the area with alcohol and allowed it to dry before trying to attach it. We ended up screwing it on. We are very happy with it! It is a great place for papers and phones while traveling.

Awesome holder!!
For such a simple product this really has made me happy with this purchase. The fit is nicely contoured So it's out of the way. Also for those concerned about the seat folding forward and hitting it, no need to worry. I checked and it's tucked in perfectly. Highly recommended!!

item lays flat on top but a noticable gap on the side.
I looked at pictures of the item and how it wrapped around the 90 degree edge - the pictures looked good but one i got had a large gap - did not conform to the slope looking at it from the driver side. I am still on edge to return this as the gap doesn't look good. Little extra storage is nice but the side of the seat does rub up against it as well. Tape did not stick even though console was cleaned with rubbing alcohol and glass cleaner several times.

Worked for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ!
Was looking for storage options for my XJ and came across this for the TJ. They are the same in that area so I thought I would try. Turns out it works great and now have some additional room for things!

Very handy storage for a Jeep TJ
Very handy storage for a Jeep TJ. Installs easy and adheres well (so far ... will see over time how it holds). The only issue is that it is difficult for the front passenger seat to clear the unit when it is slid forward and raised for access to the back seat - very tight fit - have to slide the seat forward all the way first and then raise the seat. Not ideal but okay.

What a handy addition to the TJ. Storage in a jeep is hard to come by, but this definitely helps! It was quick and easy to install. Just make sure you clean the mounting surface with an alcohol wipe first.

Wont stick
It wont stick, its made well, good idea but it needs to hold better. I thought about 1 screw but decided not to. So I returned it because it would not hold.

Great for storage!
I really like the extra storage for my cell phone and charger, this works great. Installing was easy, I cleaned off the area with alcohol wipes (but didn’t clean the rest, because it’s been dry and dusty here in Alabama). It has three strips of adhesive, you just peel and stick. So far it’s held up to bouncing around in 90+ degree weather. As you can see, I have a manual, so it fits a little differently. This is a 1997 (pre-March) TJ.
