Worth Every Penny
My chicks love it! They’ve used it since they were one week old. Right now at 3 weeks they fit four on it. Couldn’t imagine a full grown chicken wanting to use it—seems too small. But overall pretty nice! Sturdy. Would have liked smoother edges on the triangle sides, but otherwise pretty useful!! The chicks DEFINITELY use it—they fight over space for it!UPDATE: My girls are 4 weeks old now and still loving it. I added another picture to show them using it still at their age. It has taught them to love roosting and they do it everywhere now!

Immediate hit with baby chickens
As a COVID-summer project my family incubated chickens (and ducks). Now that the baby chickens are 6 weeks old we were looking to introduce a roost for them within the brooder as we prepare to transition them to the outdoor coop. (They are in the run during the day but still in the brooder at night). Within an hour they were happily perching on the roost bar - no introduction needed. It is the perfect thickness and will be awesome in their run too! The construction is sturdy and intuitive. Highly recommend this product for a backyard flock.

not a stand for chickens
I bought this to put in my chicken coop & give my hens a little more roosting room. Bottom line, it's more for little chicks as the hens just kicked it around the coop & never did roost on it. So, IF you are going to buy this, it is a really sturdy roost for little chicks. I'm sure my next batch I have will love it.

Turkey poults LOVE this roost
I am giving this roost 5 stars on behalf of my turkey poults who adore this roost. At first I wasn't sure they would use it, but they caught on to it quickly and have been using it constantly ever since. It is sturdy, super easy to assemble, and is just the right size for turkey babies a few weeks old. I would guess that approximately 4 young turkey poults could fit on one of these roosts comfortably. (I only have 2, and it works great for them with plenty of room). The only real con I can see with this roost so far is cleaning. We will see how easy it will be to clean this when that time comes and the only thing I can think of for improvement would be to include all 3 perches that are coated, instead of the two without the coating. Otherwise, a wonderful purchase. I would definitely purchase this again if needed.

Terrible, see photos
Terrible quality. Huge waste of money. Won’t sit flat, wood splitting, splinter when putting together

Training aid for perch sitting
It was easy to assemble and seems reasonably sturdy for chicks. I would be uncomfortable putting one of our hens on the top perch however as they are large fowl. Our 4 week old chicks are too large for the bottom perches. Those basically provide stability. They might be ok for chicks less than 2 weeks if they were a smaller breed than ours. The top pole got a little crowded with the 4 chicks at one time, so I ordered a second one since we will be doing additional hatching. Our current group isn't quite 4 weeks old. The perch is doing a good job of training them for perch sitting,

Chicks love it......
This perch provides "the girls" a place to roost and they really seem to enjoy it. I wish it had another level. The two lower "perches" aren't very useful. Once they started to get a little bigger (which happens pretty fast) no more than 2-3 can use the higher perch and the lower bars are not used at all. With that said, I think this was a good value and served the purpose and would recommend the product.

Well constructed, chicks like it
I wasn’t sure if my girls were ever going to use this thing. They are about five weeks. I had put it in their enclosure at about 3 weeks. I’m happy to report last night I opened the top to their mini coop and found all six of them sleeping on this roost bar together. This is perfect to start chickens roosting on. I’ll have to use something else in the actual coop since my girls will get bigger and need a wider higher bar. This works great for young birds
