Clover 9505 Double Sided Basting Tape with Nancy Zieman, 1/2-Inch by 7.5 yd.

I have been using quilting tape on quilts for years, other brands, including knock offs on amazon. Most work great. This tape is very sticky and should work well on other projects you will NOT be sewing over.However, for my purposes, made a big mistake not trying it on scraps first. It made my sewing needle so gummy, besides skipping multiple stitches, it broke the thread many times. Not sure what to do, it is inside of a seam I am unable to tear out. Will never be able to finish this project.Cannot tell if it is permanent or wash away, wish it said on the label, but it doesn't.

There are no instructions saying that it is or is not okay to sew over. I would think that a package that talks about sewing would know that. I already have a dst that I can’t sew over, and my wonder tape is too narrow and doesn’t hold well enough. I guess I will keep looking.

I'm a quilter, so this is a necessity to my notions. 5 stars!

Used on embroidery hoop for machine quilting

This tape really helps stabilize the top part of my embroidery machine hoop when I am trying to keep it exactly where I want it before snapping it into the bottom part of the hoop. I have reused the same applied tape on a hoop 4 times and it still holds the fabric in place and does the trick.

The double sided tape works great.

This tape will be perfect for using with my quilts that I make. However I do need something more sturdy for the application I bought it for. No fault of the product. I need to read more deeply before buying.

Great for embroidery machine projects to secure the upper frame while hooping up. Leaves no residue when removing. Recommended.

Works great, does not damage the sewing needle or make it sticky. Great for attaching zippers or hems and then sewing on top. I also used it to attach bits of fabric onto other fabrics and leather for halloween costumes so it's very handy.

Used to join two parts of Moses basket liner prior to sewing, so it does exactly what it says on the tin. Would definitely buy it again.
