This mannequin was a synthetic doll head I used for cosmetology class, but it was a god send, alot of human hair dolls are super expensive so I needed a long haired cheap on and this doll was spot on the money, I use fabric softener to treat synthetic hair though and I use a Paul Mitchell serum after I'm done torturing her hair at the end of the day

This is my first time to buy a practice head model. It is out of my imagination. Really good quality and pretty fast delivery. When I touched the hair I do hope that my own hair can be as good as this one! There is also a fixture inside the box which is useful to fix the head. I tried it and it works well. If you are looking for a practice head within reasonable price region, I do recommend this one.

Her hair is very long and silky , which is great, but she has all these tiny spiky hairs all along her scalp which is very annoying. I’m in cosmetology school and I bought this just to practice braiding and the little spiky hairs are getting in the way , there are so many of them, and makes it look awful. I didn’t notice them at first when I opened her up, but once I put a brush to her head ALL of the spiky hairs poked up. I would give this a better rating if it weren’t for them. It’s hard to get them in video and picture but I got a few that you can notice in the picture

My 3 year old daughter has a very tender head and I am terrible at doing hair. This mannequin head has been wonderful! I can practice French braids and other fun hairstyles without torturing my daughter. The hair is super long, which I think is a good thing for practicing elaborate hairstyles. My daughter’s hair is shorter so I actually cut it shorter and it is perfect for me now.

I bought this for my niece (who says she wants to be a beautician) and she loves it. I was surprised by the size and the quality for the price. I thought it would be like a larger doll's head, but it's actually full size and the hair is silky smooth and she really loves styling it. A great gift that brought a lot of happiness.

My 9 year old daughter and I got this to practice braiding on. I had low expectation for the price, I thought she’d be like the baby doll heads you buy then throw away after a few weeks of play. I was wrong, she has been perfect for us!! Her hair started out sooo soft and after some use she did get a big tangled and rough, but we sprayed in some of my daughter’s detailing spray and she was (almost) as good as new. I definitely recommend for recreational purposes

I purchased this for my daughter to practice combing her own hair, she nor myself have yet to even fathom the idea of hot tools on her, however she does have alopecia in the front of the hair, for what I paid for it, it does what it was intended for. I just wish they had one that was more tailored to our ethnicity.
