Incredible service, incredible quality, but make sure you get the right one...
We returned the mat immediately after receiving it, but quality had nothing to do with it. After reading some comments I mistakenly assumed this mat would be more dense than it was. Realistically this mat is much of a hybrid, suitable for both striking and throws. The company was so easy to work with... they just wanted to make sure I wasn't actually using the mat. We didn't use it, but could tell immediately it wasn't quite what we needed. Because we're doing a lot more standing and striking, runs, kicks, spins, etc. a harder surface would be more suitable for us, and we'll probably get a mat specifically meant for throws to place on top of the harder surface when it's time to grapple. My suggestion? Contact the company with details about your primary style. The comments that led me astray were probably people who were used to plush grappling mats, and to them, surely it was more dense. But to me, I want more of a mat that mimics what you'd find in a dojo. Great company, great product, and highly recommend. Just be sure you get the right one. Do more research than I did.

Do not look anywhere else
Do not waste time buying the puzzle mats. these are the way to go yet you will need to tape them in between anyway and this should be enough for 2 people to grapple.

Worth the money.
We wanted a place for our family (teenage kids and adults) to grapple. This mat fits great in our basement and holds up to punishment. The Velcro alone as worked so far, no need for tape yet. You get what you pay for and while this mat is expensive, it is super lightweight, durable, and you can wipe the sweat right off!

Excellent mats, no more wrestling tape to put it together, going on my 12 use, easy to roll up, holds together great with belt fasteners, very easy to store, love them, large enough to practice on
