extremely poor quality, falls apart easily
I bought these for my husband who is a shipyard worker and he is really hard on boots, but unfortunately these didn't last 4 months before the stitching by the heel started to come apart. and the really sad part is I used to work for iron age before they went out of business, and they generally have very good shoes. but this was apparently a very poor quality shoe. if you have to put your feet through some serious work, then I would recommend you not buy these.

A little snug
Fairly unimpressive. They are a little snug and not comfortable. Need to add some kind of arch support or foot pad before you start wearing them. They do pass through a metal detector, which was the primary reason I bought them, but if that's no important to you then I'd move on and look for something better.

Not bad but hopefully better after some wear
Fits a lot more snugly than I'd expect. I normally wear a regular size 13 I purchased a 13 wide and the boots are still snug. They seem to rub the skin off the back of my heel also. I'm hoping once they break in some that will get better. They have very good traction and seem to be pretty water resistant. If they break in some and the fit gets a little better for the price I'm happy with them.

NAME BRAND, GREAT PRICE!
I just got these today. Very comfortable, no need to break them in. I wear Richie Braces for arch and ankle support so I usually buy my regular size in a shoe, but always a wide when it comes to the steel toed boots. When you pull the laces tight to where you want them, they stay there before you tie them. This is 8-8-17. I'll repost in a few months. So far so good! I'm going to order me another pair tonight, good price! I'm a machinist and am on my feet on concrete a lot so a good fitting/feeling boot is a must! Been buying steel toed boots for over 3 decades so I know my boots!

Comfy right out of the box
On my second pair now. I have to wear boots with toe protection as a tanker truck driver. I like these because they are comfortable even when new: no 'break-in' needed. Fit is as expected, support is good, satisfied with quality for the price. They seem to last me about 6-8 months before interior shape & support give out.Only complaint is that I often get a hole in my left sock, at my big toe nail. But that is probably the combined result of constant semi-tractor clutch pedal use, the hard toe cap, and the shape of my foot. Also, I do wear cheap socks :)
