Q: Having trouble using the tablet as a second monitor and being able to do work on it with both monitors on. Any suggestions?

Hi Amy. I bought this tablet for my parter. It's amazing when working but it caused us a massive headache and a fair bit of money and time to solve. We took it to I.T specialist and they could not pin point the issue of using both screens. I used it on my laptop (Sony vaio) which worked but my partners 3 laptops weren't compatible for some unknown reason. We purchaced a new laptop which didn't work therfore sent that laptop back so we bought another which we knew was compatible (Asus notebook). Hope you get it sorted and hope my answer helps you as the Chinese company who manufactures this product is no help whatsoever. Assuming it's something to do with the graphics compatibility.

It is compatible with operating system macOS 10.08 or later. If your MacBook Pro 2019 is macOS 10.08 or later, yes, it works well.

Q: Do you have touch feature ang gesture controls such as zooming in and out and rotation?

Sorry that this tablet doesn't have touch feature ang gesture controls.

Q: can this be used independently?

Sorry that it isn't a standalone product. You need to connect it to a working computer or laptop.
