Great acrylic bender at a great price! The machine works great so far and has given nice clean bends. Water cooling system is intuitive to set up and seems to work well (the bigger the bucket of water, the longer it will go without needing to be replaced) I recessed mine into my work table which makes getting accurate bends even easier. Package also comes with a spare heating element in case it ever needs replacing. Considering the next most affordable option on the market is over $200 USD, this bender is the best bang-for-your-buck, hands down.

review title says it all... it's nothing fancy, but it works and is priced right... simple construction, as long as you're careful with the water temp used to keep it cool then it should live a long time.

The product works very well, however, there are no instructions on its use. Easy to figure out, but I would suggest filling a bowl not only with water but with ice also. The tool heats up the water (to VERY hot) very quickly. The supplied water pump overheats and shuts off if the water isn’t kept cool (with a moderate temp selected, the pump fails in about 8-10 minutes).

I just used it for the first time to bend a 23 1/2” acrylic for a home project and it worked better than I expected. The bends I made didn’t have any bubbles in the acrylic. The temperature probe for the water cooling didn’t come with batteries, or tell you what batteries to buy so I just kept checking the water by hand to make it didn’t get too warm.

the idea is great but execution is poor. variable heat control only works on full power setting which is way to hot for my application. the quartz tube that encases/insulates the heating element from the aluminum case was also broken.

The water cooling system works perfectly. One can work safely thanks to this. the heat regulator very well too. they always answered my questions. I recommend this product. To begin, this device needs to be secured on a solid base to prevent it from tipping especially when electricity is ON to avoid a serious accident, it provides no such a design it stands loose on the bench This product uses electricity and water in a BAD COMBINATION to cool down the hot element. The description and attached two-page explanation of how to set up are not detailed, and some of the additional parts are not explained. I received a quick reply from the manufacturer with several questions, but I chose to return the product for the above reasons.

Easily and smoothly bends 1/8 pvc

Item came damaged. Return request came through no problem. Returned the item at my cost for shipping. Then I was denied refund. So I paid for a damaged item that I had to pay to return. Then was told to pound salt. Not a great experience.

Product works as I required, but it was poorly packaged and a few parts came damaged. Luckily I had spare parts to do the repairs on my own.
