The best book to learn how to present!
This is one of the best books I have read to do with presentation skills and believe me when I say I have read lots! I love the layout of the book and the interesting examples used. Also the pointers are exactly that - to the point. I would recommend this book for seasoned presenters as well as novices. I spent a whole hour just going through the first four chapters of the book with my spouse and he benefited a lot too. We have been presenting for over 25 years and we still learnt a lot of learnt why something we do works. Most of the time we just did things because they seemed right not knowing exactly why.

Quick, must-have guidebook for anyone
I loved this guidebook. It's comprehensive yet to the point, and it's really easy to follow. The whole thing is 60 pages an reads like an outline so you can finish it during lunch! After only 1 read the information had really stuck with me. All the time something pops into my head when I need it - really helpful. I'd definitely recommend it no matter if your confident in presenting (like me) or not. Either type of person would still find this really useful. Another reason I love it is even though it's a presenting book the lessons carry through to most aspects of your life.

Quick, easy-to-digest, presentation tips for novices and pros
I'm a business professional who frequently creates and presents powerpoint presentations. I was looking for an easy book to help my nephew hone his presentations. It was a super-fast read, good for a novice, and I even found a few nuggets of wisdom that would be useful for my own business presentations. Not the most comprehensive book on presentations - but that's the point. Who wants to read 1000 pages on everything related to presentations, when you can get a good amount of helpful, practical tips in under 150 pages?

Concise, Easy to comprehend and Effective
As a student starting to look for jobs and going into many interviews, Professor Golzari's book has helped me tremendously. It has taught me in such a concise way how to present what I am trying to say. Many have an issue of not speaking clearly and being disorganized when presenting to an audience. This book can help anyone that falls under that problem. Another reason this book is special is because it is real world. I have read other books on presenting that seem ideal in text but are impossible to execute. I highly recommend this book.

Wonderful Book For Presenters Across All Levels
Al does a wonderful job of putting together a book that can be leveraged by presenters of all skill levels. I wish I had this book to reference when I was starting out making presentations as an undergraduate. Even now that I’m at a point in my career where I’ve made numerous presentations, I’ll still reference this book because it is so helpful in making sure that my presentations are impactful for my audience.

more like 3.5 stars
Light reading that is more for public speaking then business presentations (the given ideas/examples are more suited for mentoring or public speaking sessions).I have spent sometime trying to hone my presentation skills (with some success) and hence the content did not come across as a complete surprise.Definitely a good book for someone who is learning to be better at presentations, having a flow to it and utilize tactics to bind it all together. This book will not help you become better at speaking as such (i have heard from a friend who picked it for that very purpose and was disappointed). Rather it ll help you design better presentations, align content and be confident from a perspective what to speak and who to speak to,The title should be good enough to tell you what it is aimed at.
