So fresh and fragrant!!
Buy from this company. I bought the sumac and the aleppo pepper, and they are now my go to spices. The packaging (a wide mouth container) is perfect for pinches and sprinkling over veggies, and for stacking in your spice cabinet. I have a TON of spices, and I use them all, and these are some of the freshest and most flavorful that I've gotten. Their customer service is awesome, and you are supporting a small business instead of some huge corporation. When they were out of Ras el Hanout, Debbie actually sent me a small baggie so I could make my son's birthday dinner with it. All the spices are GMO free, preservative free and vegan.

Fresh and tasty! Perfect seasoning
Love sumac on Mediterranean and middle eastern food, it is just a perfect addition! This one is locally made, non-GMO, vegan, and pesticide free. Generous size, a little pricier than in stores, but totally worth the quality. Enjoy!

Decent flavor in awful packaging
The flavor of this is citrus and a bit tangy. The spice seems moist and fresh too. I add it to hummus and also some salads when I don’t have lemon on hand. The one problem with this is that the picture leads you to believe you will receive a beautiful glass jar but what arrives is a scuffed up plastic jar that makes it seem like you’ve paid for a low quality product.

Ground Sumac Spice
First I have to say is WOW! This spice is so aromatic! What a lovely spice to work with in mediterranean dishes. This product was fresh, the flavor is wonderful and you get a lot of product! Yes, I will definitely buy from SPICE + LEAF again!!

Great spice addition.
Had a recipe that called for this spice and could not find it anywhere so I ordered it. Spice was a great addition to the meal and I will definitely be using it on veggies and bread from now on

Adds a yummy hint of flavor
My buddy, who is a fantastic chef, not just a cook, used spices that I had no experience with. This stuff is great- a pinch goes a long way and adds just wonderful flavor to salad and many veggie dishes. I let her pick which one to buy and she suggested this one. Definitely not a disappointment.
