Adds that missing flavour.
Probably the salt content, but adds flavour to gravy, chilli, or just drop a couple in stew, beef casserole or curry! At the price you can use more than one. Pretty good in a mug of hot water on a cold night.

Not as good as other stock
I prefer to use my own stock when making soup, but didn't have any. I have used other brands, and they are ok, but I found these left the soup lacking in depth of flavour.

A bit yukky
Not sure if i had a bad batch or what but two boxes were exactly the same. They looked almost moldy and stayed in a gloppy mess without breaking down in the pan. I tried them as an alternative from a big brand but wont be using them again. Also the lids are so difficult to peel ... altogether i wouldn't recommend.
