Sofia the First S Is for Sofia

This book is a great for learning letters. My daughter is 3 years old and loves Sofia. We read this book everyday. The book is hard cover and the pages are thick so it makes it easy for little hands to turn the pages. Each page in the book is a letter of the alphabet. Each letter in etched on to each page so a child can run their fingers over the letter each letter also has arrows and numbers on it to show the child how to write the letter. There are flaps to lift up on each page with different objects that go with each letter. It has one sentence on each page describing the scene. It is not a cohesive storyline like other Sofia books. It is more for learning the alphabet. Great tool for preschoolers and kindergarteners to learn letters. Plus anything Sofia in our house is always a big hit. I would recommend this product.

Our little one LOVEs this Sofia book. She enjoys pointing out the characters and animals and recognizing the letters. It's a perfect evening, wind down book. We liked this book so much that we bought multiple copies to give as gifts. Great for as young as 2 years (just be careful opening the flaps as the paper can tear off if they pull too hard - we actually ignored the flaps until the little one turned 3 and she realized they were there). Very sturdy book, great content, good way to introduce the alphabet and tracing letters, exposure to new words, beautiful pictures. Very well done. We also recommend P is for Princess, which has multiple princesses. We keep one book in the living room and the other version in the car. Good for a child to "read" alone or with someone else.

This book is amazing for toddlers learning the alphabet! Each page is dedicated to a different letter of the alphabet. The capital letter is indented on the page so the child can run her finger across to see how the letter is formed. In addition, on each page you'll find a sentence describing the scene, as well as several flaps for the child to lift. Each flap has a different word on the page that starts with the letter that is being focused on. This book keeps my daughter (2) busy for quite a while, and it's helping her learn word associations with the letters. She loves to see her favorite characters on the pages, as well. This is the best Sofia book that we have!

I love the idea of this book. It’s great quality and helps my child make connections between different letters and words/objects that start with that letter. This book is also great because it focuses on Sofia the First, who is very popular with many toddlers, like my own. My only negative criticism is the flaps initially are a challenge to open and find. I had to help my toddler significantly. Next time around it should be easier since now all the flaps have been opened. Would have been tricky with very short nails! My toddler loves the illustrations too!

This book exceeded my expectations. I love that each letter has the steps included for writing as well as all the flaps in the book to help teach vocabulary. It’s very sturdy and would highly recommend this for anyone who has a child that loves Sophia!

My daughter loves Sofia the First, so I purchased this book for her birthday. However, the flaps in the book look the same on the outside and when you open the flap. I was expecting a different picture under each flap. Nonetheless, it is a sturdy book that my daughter reads on a regular basis.

This is my 2 year old daughter's favorite book. She is a big Sofia fan. She loves to name all the letters and point out all the items and characters in the book, and of course she likes to lift the flaps. She is rather rough with her books and it has held up very well.

My 2 year old Granddaughter LOVES Sofia the 1st. She can't wait to watch it . The book is hardboard and excellent. It has many fold ups that add to the fun of learning.

Love the secret pop up windows and the finger tracing

Has got all alphabet letters inside, allows child to trace letters, there are arrows suggesting correct direction of tracing too. Each page is a different letter, they are cardboard pages so book is large A4 and heavy. My daughter loves it. Each page gives you short "story" relating to Sophia's adventures, also has a number of flaps to enhance child's vocabulary. I wouldn't hesitate buying again.

姪っ子にプレゼント。初めての英語の本。喜んでいました。

いつも行く小児科にあり、こどもが気に入って見ていました。ただ皆が見ているせいかめくる部分が破れていたり見にくくなっていて、破れていないものを見せたいと思い購入しました。病院でいつも見ていたので家であんまり見ないかな？と思っていましたが、大喜びで見ています。病院でも女の子に人気の本でした。英語に興味を持つきっかけにもなるかと思います。
