REOTEMP S1-F39 Magnetic Analog Surface Thermometer, 0 to 150 Fahrenheit

Easy to secure with strong magnet! Very accurate. Have it attached to my hvac ductwork to monitor temp of air being sent through the ductwork.

I bought 2 of these thermometers. They are accurate indoors and outdoors. One of the two had a wobbly needle (bouncing up and down if you tap the device), but it was still accurate. Overall, the magnet part works, just don't hit it accidentally hard or it will fly off. I did this and the glass broke, but the thermometer still works after the metal housing was dented. Too bad you can't return it to China for an inexpensive repair if you break the glass cover! If it was a 8 or 10 dollars less it would be an exceptional deal. But it is decently made.

This thermometer has lived up to its product specifications and works perfectly to give indication of the output air temperature from our wood-burning furnace that is ducted into our home heating system. With our wood heating system, the regulation of our overall home temperature is dependent on the opening of the dampener on the furnace, and this gives almost instant feedback as to the temperature of the fan-forced ducting. The magnet has held as it should and the dial is very easy to read.

Did a lot of research looking for an accurate, easy to read dial thermometer, ... well this fit the requirements. Tested accuracy from zero to 100 degrees and this thermometer kept within 1 degree of accuracy throughout the range.Price was very good for the above average quality.

I was really excited to find this Thermometer. It;s just the right size for my needs , easy to read face, and feels like a good quality product. It was especially nice to find in Fahrenheit. Seems to be accurate within +- 1 or 2 degrees and i think that is acceptable. The only drawbacks I can find is that it is very overpriced and does not go below zero on the Fahrenheit scale. But the positives far outweigh any negatives so I still give this product a thumbs up. I like this Thermometer and would buy again.

I purchased this thermometer to place on the surface of an elevator control panel to track the temperature inside the elevator cab in an unheated shaft. The product is easy to read and appears to be quite accurate. However, the magnet's "strength" was not sufficient to prevent the thermometer from sliding down the side of the control panel. I placed a couple of stronger magnets beneath the thermometer and it is working fine.
