2141 Fabric Protectant (2 Pack)

I have used this in the past but just ordered the 2 can deal on Amazon. I have used it mostly on the original soft top on a 2004 BMW Z4. I watched a YouTube video where they sprayed it on and then rubbed it in by hand. I used that method after I saw the video and am pleased with the results. Some comments say that it doesn’t water proof the top. All I know is that when washing the car the water beads up on the top. Of course if you spray the water continuously for a while it no longer beads, what do you expect, the top is cloth after all. No water gets through to the inside of the car but I’m sure that there is an inner layer of the top that is designed to keep water from penetrating to the interior. I like the results I get from this product and though it is a bit pricey I plan on continuing to use it. I have also used it on a cloth tonneau cover on a 6’ bed Tacoma. Since it takes so much product to cover the tonneau, I have not used it on that as often as I have on the car but the tonneau is still in great shape after 5 years. One of the cans that are on the way will be dedicated to the Tacoma. If your expectations are within reason you should be pleased with this product.

I have used the fabric protectant product now for 9 months and the original black fabric top on my 2013 BMW 135i convertible looks like BRAND NEW. I have applied the product in 3 month intervals. I use the RaggTopp cleaner prior to the application of the protectant. I found the YouTube video for the product very helpful to review before using the protectant for the first time. I do apply 3 coats of the protectant to the clean convertible top at each of the 3 month intervals. The application process is easy. The water beads off of the fabric top as advertised. I highly recommend this product!!

Great protection and waterproofing for your convertible top

This is good stuff for protection of cloth convertible auto tops. The product must be periodically applied in order to achieve max effect. It works well, causes water to bead and provides very good protection from embedded dirt. Get the aerosol can trigger for ease of application.

This product on the fabric top I treated was similar to what a good wax job on paint looks like ...water beads up on top and rolls off.....I used 3/4 of a can on a top that had soaked up water prior to treatment....as directed... do not use in area where a breeze or wind will be present... it did clean up well off glass and painted surface.... I taped off the area for second coat and it made it much easier for me to spray the edges of fabric along glass and painted areas....it was a little time consuming but no overspray resulted on the glass or painted surface...bought the vehicle used and top was in need of a lot of work. Highly recommend this product. 50th Anniversary Corvette convertible top looks great.

I am privileged to own a 2003 E46 M3 convertible. I have been using this product for a number of years on my convertible top. It works and protects as advertised. OBTW, at aged seventy five years old, this vehicle I have owned since new… is the most fun I have ever experienced with my clothes on… I recommend this product!!

The best product for convertibles!

Been using Ragg Top on my convertible Saab for years now. It makes it look new and has probably helped preserve it since its the original top and the car is a 2007 93turbo. Just follow the cleaning and application instructions for a new look. Will keep buying and using this for this top and even a new one later. Use to buy this from the company direct and I am glad I found it on Amazon.

Easy to apply.Most importantly we recently replaced our convertible top on our car.The shop was very high end ,excellent workmanship and a wide range of vehicles being serviced This was the only product they endorsed .It does not affect colour feel or tone on cloth top material.Good enough for the pros,certainly good enough for us.

Très bon produit facile à installer

I applied the product as recommended, following all instructions carefully, and finished the entire can on the surface. Unfortunately, after using it, the surface did not exhibit the waterproofing qualities I was expecting. Despite the claims, it became soaked when exposed to water, which indicates that the product may not deliver on its waterproofing promises. I was hoping for more effective protection, so I am disappointed with the overall performance. 370Z Roadster
