Takes some time, but very easy to ensemble. All of the parts were clearly labeled and organized well. The packaging was great and ensured there was no damage to it while in transit. Very sturdy and beautiful piece.

Assembly is a bit trickier that I’d hoped, but less than expected from other reviews. My cats insist that I keep one basket empty for them to hide in. The cushion is surprisingly comfy, if a bit harder than I was expecting. Overall is is better than expected. Took a couple of hours to assemble on my own.

Really great bench. Nice deep bins for keeping shoes in. Very sturdy and comfy to sit on while putting shoes on. Has solved the problem of the massive pile of kid shoes that builds up by the front door!However, holy damn are those instructions terrible! Shows putting screws in the wrong holes. Completely skips a few steps. Just wow. There's not many pieces, so once I gave up on the instructions and put it together by instinct, it was fine.

I bought one at Home Depot that was really low quality so I returned it and bought this one. It’s much better- the wood is more solid and it looks nice. The cushion is cheap but you can pull the fabric off... if you knew how to make a cover it’d probably be even better looking with a dark red color cover. For what I paid it’s really nice and I can sit on it while putting on my shoes no problem.

After figuring out that part of the directions were backwards, the rest was pretty simple to put together. It took about an hour and a half to have it all assembled (because of my confusion about the backwards picture). Love the resulting bench. Nice looking and sturdy enough for my needs.

It was easy to assemble (instructions are just pictures, but if you have half a brain, they’re not that difficult to follow). Only thing I’m not a huge fan of, is it’s pretty small.... and the bag containing all of the hardware was packaged with the cushion, so my cushion and the cover have a pretty bad indentation where the bag dug into it...(see picture). I’m hoping the styrofoam will “bounce back” over time. If it does, I’ll up my rating. Overall, it’s decent.

Assembly Instructions were awful. Pictures only and no step by step instructions.The product itself was not what I would term“Sturdy” and not worth the price I paid.This was the first product that I have purchased from Amazon that, in my opinion, was not up to Amazon standards.

Love this bench, fits perfect for the spot I needed by the front door. Just the right size for grandkids to sit and put shoes on, love the storage bins. I did put baby protective corners on the 2 front corners as they seem sharp and didn’t want grandkids hurting themselves. Overall am very happy with it!
