USB Flash Drive 256Gb Data Storage Memory Stick Metal Thumb Drive USB 2.0 Pen Drive for PC

I needed a flash drive that had quite a bit of memory. I take pictures for my work and needed something to copy the pictures on until I can store them on my work computer. I love this memory stick because I can keep it on my keychain and have it with me all the time. It is also great because it is waterproof!! It works great and it was easy to use. Great price and a wonderful item.

Well, it looks cool and I got a cute kitten sticky stand for a cell phone in the little box, but the thumb drive doesn't work. I knew it wasn't a USB 3.0, so I wasn't surprised when it took hours to record my 100 GB music collection (so I could plug it in on my computer at work and hear my tunes). After I was done writing to it, the majority of the files weren't there! Tried it again with the same result and, then, a third time without success. With one directory, the files don't appear, but when I go to write them again, they indicate that the invisible files have to be written over the invisible copies. I tried playing the .mp3 files that did copy and they are deemed to be corrupted and not playable. It's not the computer because I copied files to other thumb drives and they work fine. Another weird thing is that Windows indicates that it is actually a 256 GB thumb drive which would be nice … if it worked. Quick and easy return for a replacement, which showed up in two days (not bad!). Unfortunately, the second thumb drive did the same thing, so I'm returning it for a refund.

More than meets stated description expectations. Metal shell and connector parts are far superior to the plastic-cased and composite connector shield of others at the same price or more money. The keychain ring is a bonus; I bought 4 and do not regret it!

Love his thumb drive. I take it back and forth from home to work. Plenty of space for work and home. I bought two and so glad I did.

This is a good design. Easy to attach to my keys and easy to plug in. Not certain about the capacity yet but works very well for me. I use them for photo storage. I will be purchasing more. Easy, sleek and easy to plug and unplug them.

First clue - I ordered a 128G, yet Windows recognized it as 256G. I copied music and sermons onto it. Seemed to be fine. When I hit about 10G written, however, it created phantom files - directories were created, the claimed amount of written space increased, but no files were listed. Scanned the stick for errors - none. Did a deep formatting, which did not report any errors. Write, write, write ... about 10G ... phantoms. Even did something odd - I had copied an album and checked that the MP3s were listed. All good. Then I renamed the directory ... poof! No more music. Finally, not sure why this is, but the seller listed above is "XYOGO." Click on their name, and they have a 93/94% positive rating. Yet on my Orders page, the seller is listed as CoconutHydroxTrading - with overwhelmingly negative reviews recently. Seems like somebody be gaming the system. Hey Amazon, why and how is that? The stick is pretty but not heavy enough to be an effective paperweight. Returned. Ordered a Samsung.

I got this one so that I can carry it with me all the time as it is water and dust proof.
