Great roller
Absolutely great for painting uneven surfaces. Made a difficult job a little bit easier and quicker with good coverage. Was a lot better than an expensive one bought from Wickes and less than half the price.

Not for rougher surfaces
Despite the description I didn’t find the roller capable of anything too rough. Maybe it is capable of straight brickwork, but I purchased to paint a quite rough render and had to revert to a brush. However, the roller is good and easy to clean so I guess it has to have five stars. JC

Work Smart
This roller appears to be truly wonderful... I used it with Sandtex Smooth Masonry Paint on an old deeply stippled outside wall and found the application really easy and effective. However you do really need to work smart and do all your cutting in with a brush first as you will not be wanting to clean this roller any more often than necessary. I covered 5m square in less than 15 minutes but spent the next 20 cleaning the roller but if you work smart you won't go far wrong with this roller.

Not for me
Most people would probably have no problems using this roller, but I’ve always been averse to using rollers and have for many years stuck to using brushes, was persuaded to buy this roller to give it a go. Unfortunately having tried to use it I have not been converted, applying the paint was frustrating, seemed more paint was staying on the roller than going on the wall, gave up after 30 minutes and continued with my brushes. Of course this is just my personal opinion and experience and you may have very different views on this roller and rollers in general. I fully accept that my poor experience with this roller could be as much my fault as it is the deficiencies of the roller itself.

It fell apart!!
Started really well on first rendered wall. However, part way through the wall the roller started to fail and split in the middle. Can't recommend and will stick with Harris rollers in future.

Best outdoor roller for rough surfaces
The best roller I have ever used outdoor. We have a house with rough rendering, using this roller we were able to paint it and honestly now is still looks rough, but is smooth to the touch. Recommend if you're using it for same thing !
