Nearly great!
A nice flash gun and operates automatically on ETTL. Just don't try and update the firmware. I tried and was unsuccessful every time so gave up in the end. Still it works ok so manage without the update.

You get what you pay for.
Needed a flash and thought I’d give this a shot since I read everywhere that it is just as good as the Canon, and the price is hard to resist. The truth is, it is not as good as the Canon.BUILD QUALITY - POORa) I unpacked it and found two screws immediately came off the base of the unit. I tried to put them back in place but they just won’t hold.b) All the rubber covers protecting the various ports on the unit are poorly designed and poorly fitted, and simply won’t stay shut, definitely won’t be holding moisture out if used outdoors.c) Buttons are clunky, some buttons that don’t spin on the canon do spin on this, the wheel is hard to turn, the general feel is definitely cheap.d) There is apparently a firmware update available for these... good luck figuring out how to update it. I tried a few times and just gave up.e) The tilting is very rough, no squeeze and turn like in a Canon, and the whole feel of the unit is cheap, I feel confident it will break within a year of regular use.POWER/TEMPERATURE - GOODf) This is where this redeemed itself a little. It powers fast enough, recharges fast enough, and the temperature and power of the light emitted felt on par with Canon’s equivalent. All in all, I’ll keep this speedlight, and use it, but I know next time I’ll save a little longer and stick with Canon branded items... You just get what you pay for...

Dissatisfied
Good price, usually buy this brand. Not as happy with this one, makes a strange whirring noise, funny burning type smell and screen light flickers. Should have returned this after 1st use but always in use. It. Hasn't failed on me yet but I fear it will.
