“Conversational Kannada” by NDK

Great book to learn Kannada and extremely easy to learn. Would recommend this to my friends any day. Bought this after seeing on of my friend using a copy. Though the CD feels obselete cause I don't have a CD driver 😅.Also was really nice of the seller to send a small envelope asking to fill a honest review. Put a smile on my face :)

Definitely the best book to learn spoken Kannada. The approach is very practical. You don't need to know Kannada script since everything is in English. The CD that comes with it helps in pronunciation. Exercises are easy and with commonly used words. It's quite a self-study material if you already know anyone of the South Indian languages - especially Malayalam, Tamil or Telugu.

A very well written book. Script is in English language. But helpful to learn Kannada language at basic level.

The book is great, however the audio CD provided does not work as multiple reviewers have already stated.To Publisher - Please provide replacement to affected buyers so we can fully benefit from this excellent book.I'm still leaving 3 stars because the quality of the book itself is excellent and easily the best of its kind available in the market. After using it for a few months though I feel the audio CD would have rapidly accelerated my progress, so it is really a pity that the latest batch of books has defective CDs.Again I request the publisher to take serious note of their production lapse. I will upgrade the review to 5 stars if you can provide a replacement CD (which I'm happy to pay for as well, but please take the initiative to help us buyers :))

Just the book i was searching for..This book will be the best book u will find for learning kannada... without any prior basic knowledge of kannada.. ideal book for non-kannadigans
