Mail Order Bride: Westward Dreams: A Clean Historical Mail Order Bride Romance Novel (Montana Mail Order Brides)

This one might be my favorite. I just loved the storyline and all the action as well as a town coming together for a show of support for someone different. Truly a great story.

The mail order bride series is a good one. The characters live on in all the books. It makes for a great read. If only black and white could walk in each others shoes. The differences might come full circle to see that different Cultures are just that, small differences. ( The Jews, The gentle, the French, the English, the Scots and the Irish, the Iranian , the Panama tank, the Muslim, the non Muslim, the German, the Russian) can you bring them all to Montana and have them live in peace. What an accomplishment. Give it a try for your next series.

I really enjoyed the story. How sad that, over a hundred years later, our country still struggles with racial bias. It was interesting to see the difference between the two cultures. The story was interesting, touching, and exciting. The characters were well-drawn. My only complaint is with some of the modern phrases. I am pretty sure that, back in the 1800's, people didn't say "no problem" and "no sweat." I found that to be a little jarring. All in all, it was a good read and I have already bought the rest of the series. I think you will like it, too.

I've read the first 7 books in the "Westward" series by Linda Bridey, and loved each and every one of them. The theme of "mail-order brides" and the men that they marry, is fascinating. Each book introduces the character who will be the next mail-order bride or the receiving groom. Each book has different problems which motivate the use of the classified ads to change their lives. Each one, after obstacles and misunderstandings, ends in a HEA. Jump into Dawson, Montana, and let the good times roll!

The Montana Mail Order Brides books are enjoyable stories that are each complete without the feeling of being rushed through and entwine the characters into the other books within the series. As most romance books each couple has their ups and downs, inner battles, heartaches, happy times and end in a happy ending. It combines different cultures and the hardships and struggles that goes along with it. I found this to be a great mix in the story and was well done. Once I finish one book I quickly buy the next book as I want to see what will happen to another character. I recommend to read the book and series to anyone that likes romance.

What a GREAT book!!! As with the previous books in this series, it had me at page one and kept me till the end. In fact I was really disappointed that it was over until I found out another book in this series - Westward Holiday- had just been released. You could read this as a stand-alone BUT since I read all of them in order, believe me when I say that they are much better when read in order. Thanks, Linda for another GREAT book!!! (I also just finished Westward Holiday book #8 and can't wait for #9 to be released...I can see all the different possibilities or storylines with this series. Like someone for Jack or for Ben or even Gus. So please keep up the GREAT work!!!

I acquired this last book in the series first, and now must go back and read the rest of the series. I generally read historical inspirational novels, because the graphic nature of most historical romances does not appeal to me. When 's. Bridey labeled hers as 'clean' fiction, I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. I have always enjoyed reading about the Lakota people, and Wolf and Hannah's story was a lovely window into the relationship between the cultures. It was a very enjoyable read.

It was entertaining and kept my interest. However the language that was used didn't necessarily fit the time period. Overall an easy read.

what can i say but another amazing funny tear jerking book instatement to another of Dawson’s resisidentns and there mail order bride now i can’t wait for the next one and Jake from the Watering Hole i have a feeling this is going to be another one that doesn’t disappoint or fail
