I bought this so I would have a small, portable usb c hub for travel use with my iPad Pro. This is a great fit and the colour compliments the iPad nicely. There is a small magnetic spacer that sits between the hub and your iPad but this can be a little fiddly when in use with certain cases. This is easily removed and worth doing so unless you are connecting to an iPad without a case. I have only tested the hub under iOS12 but found it to function perfectly in use. The usb c port only appears to be a power pass through which is fine although support for usb c drives through this would have been a bonus - I’ll know for sure once iPadOS officially releases. Image transfer using the SD card slot was very quick with my Sandisk Extreme cards - I haven’t felt the need to time a transfer as it works so quickly I have no concerns. The biggest question I had on this hub was the hdmi support as I have used a few cheaper hubs in the past and found they introduced a small stutter to video out when watching movies or other moving content. Thankfully, the Lention is giving me perfectly smooth motion so I’m very happy with this as my go to hub for video out on the iPad now. Highly recommended.

Firstly the HDMI signal output is questionable, it isn't working as stably as other hubs but this maybe due to the USB-C fit. Like seriously, with the included spacer it doesn't really fit, too thick? or interferes with the folio cover case. Without the included spacer it's wobbly leading to insecure connections (e.g. HDMI going on off then went out of sync or something). I can't believe I have to try so many hubs to get it right. Happily returned this.

works well with the iPad pro 2020 model - without any dangly bits when working on your lap or in the car. The only compaint I have is that the black magnetic strip doesn't fit and doesn't allow the hub to properly connect to the iPad's USB-C connector, I have to remove it when it's connected to the iPad, which leaves about a 2-3mm gap that allows the hub to wiggle a bit. When I get time I will sand it down a bit so I don't have to remove it and don't have the gap.

This item works a dream and for the price it’s excellent. Has the ports you need USB 3, SD’ Micro SD, HDMI and a Headphone Jack tried them all and they all work as they should. It fits snugly to the side of the iPad and stays firmly in place so no problems there. It has a USBC port so you can charge your iPad while using it. With this item and iPad OS you now have a true Laptop Replacement. Great buy.

This Multi-Port Hub is the best thing I have purchased. Works perfectly well with my iPad Pro, it isn’t limited at all, you can add an extension of USB hubs to it.It can get hot sometimes, usually when you overload it too much, but it doesn’t cause any serious problems. It’s still working perfectly fine and it’s everything I needed.If you’re looking to buy this, especially for iPad Pro Users, I very highly recommend.

I liked the fact that the gadget fits very well with the iPad Pro 11" 2018 that I use. The most importer thing to me is that the adapter when connected gets fixed t to the iPad whether using the iPad with a case or not. The only thing I disliked is that it does not have the option to use VGA hence I have to use another adapter when I need to use that option

Bought this mainly so I can plug headphones in as well as my digital piano. I could have gotten a cheaper option, but the HDMI is useful to for travelling, where I can plug my iPad into a hotel TV and access Netflix, etc.Simply works, and it looks and feels like a highly polished product for the price (I can only imagine if Apple were to make this same item they'd charge like a million bucks).

Works well and good value for money.My only disappointment is that the sound using the 3.5 mm jack is of poor quality and not on par with normal sound.
