Ecover Natural Automatic Dishwashing Tablets, Citrus - 17.6 Ounce, (Pack of 4)

These are my favorite eco friendly dishwasher tabs! Leaves dishes sparkling~ I don't even use a rinse aid. I like the NOT overpowering scent~ clean.

These work amazingly well!! Better than anything I've tried (and believe me, I've tried everything!), plus they're cheaper and better for the environment!! Win win!! Try a box... you won't be disappointed! I was looking for a more natural dishwasher detergent and tried Mrs. Meyers, Method, Seventh Generation and Palmolive eco with disappointing results. They were much more expensive for less product and just didn't work. Ecover is hands down the best! Our dishes and cutlery come out sparkling clean every time.... no water spots, food residue or film. Our seven-year-old daughter helps load the dishwasher occasionally and isn't as careful with scraping and loading, but even then the dishes still come out super clean! I wish our local stores carried this brand, but until then I'll keep ordering them from Amazon because this stuff works so well! The scent is citrus and natural. I haven't tried the fragrance-free version of these tabs yet just because I've been so pleased with these citrus-scented ones. They smell great when you open the little package up but leave no scent at all on the plastic dishes like other scented detergents will. These tablets work so well that you really don't even need a rinse aid, although we have used the Ecover rinse aid in the past and we're really pleased with it! We also really like Evover's laundry detergent, fabric softener and liquid dish soap! We are just really happy with the brand overall, but these dishwasher tablets are definitely our favorite! :)

I have been using for quite a while and am very pleased with how well it cleans.

First the positive, it cleaned the dishes and glassware clean and spotless. It even left my dishwasher sparkling. The negative was the scent. It was very heavily perfumed and did not have much of a lemon scent. I usually enjoy citrus scents, but this activated my asthma, and I had to return the product. I ordered the scent free version and just hope it cleans as well as the scented one.

We have used these for years and they work great.

I tried it to compare to greener product that I thought I would like better. However, turns out these work better than the greener product. The greener product had enzymatic action and a package that "dissolved" as opposed to these where you have to cut them out of the wrapper. But the greener product wrapper did not always dissolve and the dishes were "baked -on" dirty after the cycle. I would use these to replace conventional detergents with phosphate.

A half tablet is all you need per load, or such is the case in our Miele. A service tech recommended that to us when we complained of film on our dishes. Now, most things get clean with no film residue and we’re saving money on the Ecover tablets. I cut a dozen or so at a time and we’re good for 24 loads. Ecover works great. I’m less enthralled with the Miele, but that’s a story for another review.
