i gave this to all 8 of our firemen and they loved it and it has kept them safe and now they can see where they are when fighting a fire in the woods the lights help spot things they cant see at night and their knives do come in just as handy .we loved them well worth buying them thanks

Great gift for firefighter
I purchased this set for my son-in-law for Christmas. I was very impressed with the quality. I hesitated about buying this as it didn't look that great in the picture. I decided to just go ahead & get it & if I didn't like it, I wouldn't give it to him. I am glad I did buy it. I know my son-in-law will love it.

Flashlight is too easily turned on. It keeps randomly turning on in my pants.
The flashlight keeps turning on in my turnout gear. The button is too easily pressed. The flashlight works fine, but it will be no good to me if the battery gets used up before I go to use it. I have not used the knife yet, it seems sturdy.

i got it for my Boy friend as a graduation gift and he loved it. works good and the blade was sharp

Flashlight is not the best.
The knife is great, however as a combo I should also review the flashlight. The flashlight is very cheaply made and for some reason it sucks the life out of all the batteries I use with it. I have not had any problems with the knife, but due to the fact that this came as a combo with the flashlight I had to give this 3 stars.

Works for me!
Bought this for my son who is a firefighter in Houston. It's small enough to carry all the time... strong enough to be useful... handy for sure. He loves it.
