The charging time for me was fine when I connected it to a newer lap top. It also worked well with the charger I have in my car. The cable I was using was constantly coming loose. This one stayed in the phone much better.

Perfect for delicate electronics. Had a pair of headphones that the charge port broke loose inside. Love the magnetic connection. Breaks loose instead of damaging charging port.

Was looking for a new cord to pair my phone (Galaxy S22) and car. I loved them at first (bought several lengths)- kinda meh now. Writing this after approx 4 months daily use and a trip.Initially it was *perfect* for the car- easy connection without looking. Tho if phone not secure, magnets come apart when turning and phone moves.On trip I noticed several times had phone laying on night stand and (re)attached cord several times to charge at night, but it wouldn't charge. Also on this trip several times I went to take the phone off the cable and the nub came out with it. Once home I replaced the nub with a new one and that issue stopped. Not sure why the nub would randomly stop holding since it's not something I'd take out and was even partially secured by the edge of my case.Android Auto worked perfectly at first, after a few weeks stopped working, then it randomly worked again, recently it stopped again. Could be the car software (or my phone), but it when I plugged in with regular USB, it works. Inclined to think it's the cable/connection.Still giving 4 stars because, when it works, it's great, it's just lacking the consistency I need... but that could be on my end and no reflection of product.

The concept of this cable is great - it quickly snaps together magnetically in correct alignment and I've loved using it with my phone. A small round magnetic mating connector is meant to be left in the micro-usb socket. Over time I found this part to start showing a mechanical weakness which ultimately caused it to fail. The back side of this round connector does not have a flat surface to press against on either my phone or tablet. The result is as the connector is stressed back & forth during normal use while the joint with the portion which enters the micro-usb socket is firmly held in place, over time this joint weakens and then fails.

This magnetic charging adapter works amazingly well and so far has performed well for the first 30 days or so that I've owned it. I really like the fact that it is illuminated near the magnetic coupler end as that makes finding the end of the cable among the other cables on my desk, a snap! However, I did observe a couple of small problems with magnetic cable sets that you should be aware of.The the charging port opening in the typical after-market phone case we all buy is usually just a a little bit bigger than the outline of the port opening in the phone. If the edge of your your phone case is more than 1 mm thick or so, the magnetic adapter that plugs into and and stays in your phone may not be able to fully seat through the case opening and fully seat into the charging port of your phone. Without full depth engagement, the adapter itself is prone to being pulled out of the phone (or falling out) when placing the mating magnetic cable on-to, or off-of your phone. Two things can help resolve this problem.1) I found that using an Xacto-knife, I could convert the opening in the phone-case for the power port into a circular shape that was just slightly larger than the diameter of the magnetic adapter that plugs into the phone. This allows a full-depth engagement of the adapter into the phone.2) When disconnecting the magnetic charging cable from the phone, DO NOT simply pull the cable straight back from the phone like you used to do with a the standard, non-magnetic charging cable. Rather, sharply bend the magnetic element (on the cable side) at an 45 degree angle with respect to the phone to break the magnetic forces of the cable. This helps to prevent the adapter from pulling straight out of the phone every time you disconnect from charging.With these two tricks in hand, these cables are working perfectly for both me and my spouse! I might add that the issues I mention above are common to any magnetic adapter, not just this brand. This magnetic connector/cable combo appears to be of high quality and the cable wires are heavy enough for quick-charging of my phone (Charging current > 1.5 Amps!). Overall a good buy and good product!

I've switched all my cables over to these NetDot Gen12 models. I used to buy new micro usb cables every other month with my son ruining the tips trying to charge his devices. Now every device works with every cable, and none of them go bad.ProblemsThe LED light in the end is disturbingly bright when charging my phone next to my bed. To fix this, I got some heat shrink tubing, cut some slits in it, and shrunk it onto the LED end. It worked perfectly, and now it just has little dots of light around it so I can still find it in the dark but it doesn't light up the room.I had 1 cable (out of about a dozen or so purchased) where the magnet came out of the end of the cable. I used a speck of e6000 adhesive on the outer edge of the magnet and slide it in, twisting it by using one of the spare connection tips. No problems since. I used e6000 because it is too viscous to flow into anything I didn't want it in, and it stays pliable after setting so it won't get brittle and crack when the cable repeatedly "snaps" against the tips on devices.I just got some Jabra wireless earbuds, and I've found they will not charge with these cables. My assumption is that the magnet interferes with the electronics inside? So far the only device I have had issues with.Samsung phones, Asus tablets, iPhones, iPads, Anker battery packs (both input and output), and who knows what else I'm not thinking of... all work perfectly with these cables, and my life is now that much simpler.

I have purchased two of these packages. Works well. Doesn't seem compatible with my Samsung S2 or S4 thu, unfortunately. Works with my S6 and Samsung phone. Will buy again.

This is my second purchase of magnetic charging cables from netdot. Previously had the gen5 but eventually needed to replace after years of use. Customer service is top notch. They were quick to reply with my questions, and helped me choose the correct cable for my application. This charger fits with my OtterBox case (had to remove the rubber seal & replace with magnetic tip) I love that I only need to bring 1 cable for all our devices. Very practical in the car to attach & remove without having to mess around trying to find the correct slot.

Ich habe mittlerweile seit längerem 12 Kabel in verschiedenen Längen im Einsatz. Ich benutze sie zum Laden aber auch für Datenverbindungen. Das System ist genial und funktioniert ohne Probleme mit meinen sämtlichen Geräten. Im Ladebetrieb werden die Anschlüsse je nach Stromstärke manchmal etwas warm aber niemals heiß. Die Stecker lasse ich bei einigen Geräten stecken, das ist dann besonders komfortabel auch bei Ortswechseln.Von mir absolute Kaufempfehlung.

veramente eccezionali... li uso da più di un mese senza problemi ne ho comprato 8 in modo tale da poter collegare universalmente qualunque dispositivo ovunque mi trovo, in macchina in ufficio vicino al comodino, vicino al pc... la calamita è molto potente. funziona anche il collegamento al pc non è solo per caricare.
