Loftus Star Power Starter Prank Bang Gun Flag Pistol, Red/Black/White, 5"

The media could not be loaded. i know that everybody hates this FLAG BANG GUN because its small and flimsy but i will show you how i did my FLAG BANG GUN. all you need are a FLASH BANG GUN,PLIERS,SOLDERING IRON TOOL,GLUE GUN, a Small Screwdriver, Scissors,RETRACTABLE BADGE, and a 45 ACP British Bull Dog Revolver Toy Gun at AMAZON. First get your FLAG BANG GUN and remove the RED FLAG off than get your SOLDERING IRON TOOL and start melting the PLASTIC BLACK HANDLE off of the FLAG BANG GUN. Next get your PLIERS and start pulling out the long METAL piece thats inside the hole of the METAL BARREL. Next get your SOLDERING IRON TOOL and start melting the PLASTIC BARREL OFF of your 45 ACP BRITISH BULL DOG REVOLVER TOY GUN. Than get your SMALL SCREW DRIVER and start UNSCREWING the REVOLVER GUN TOY and OPENING IT. Your gonna get your HOT GLUE GUN next and HOT GLUE the FLAG BANG GUN METAL BARREL onto the 45 ACP BRITISH BULL DO REVOLVER TOY GUN. After that your gonna get your RETRACTABLE BADGE and CUT THE WHOLE STRING OFF with your SCISSORS and HOT GLUE THE STRING ONTO THE VERY TIP OF THE REVOLVER HAMMER. Im not sure how LONG OR SHORT I CUTTED the STRING you'll have to experiment to see how long or short it should be. Now i made two VERSIONS of this FLAG BANG GUN. one STRING HAS A BALL THATS ALREADY ATTACHED TO THE RETRACTABLE BADGE AND THE OTHER I CUT THE BALL AND GLUED A PIECE OF Q TIP AT THE END OF THE STRING INSTEAD. So the last thing you will do now is the STRING WILL GO THROUGH THE CIRCLE CYLINDER CHAMBER OF THE GUN. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHICH HOLE IT GOES THROUGH BECAUSE IT WILL ONLY GO THROUGH ONE HOLE. THAN YOUR DONE. YOU CAN START SCREWING EVERYTHING BACK ON AND HOT GLUE THE RED BANG FLAG ONTO THE BARREL. SO HOW THIS WORKS IS YOU ROLL THE RED FLAG AND CLOSE THE METAL BARREL. THE STRING WITH THE BALL OR Q TIP WHICH EVER ONE YOUR MAKING GOES ON TOP OF THE METAL BARREL AND WHEN YOU PULL THE HAMMER BACK OF THE GUN THE STRING WITH THE BALL OR Q TIP IS GONNA HOLD DOWN THE METAL BARREL KEEPING IT CLOSED TIGHT. WHEN YOU RELEASE THE HAMMER THE BALL/Q TIP WITH STRING IS GONNA LET GO THE METAL BARREL CAUSING IT TO OPEN.IF YOU LIKE TO SEE THE VIDEOS ITS ON TOP OF THIS PRODUCT. FORGOT TO MENTION ON THE GUN TRIGGER INSIDE THERES A METAL PIECE SCREWED ON SO UNSCREW AND TAKE THAT OFF. THIS METAL PIECE MAKES THE CYLINDER CHAMBER ROTATE IN CIRCLES.ALSO THERES A SPRING ATTACHED WITH THE GUN TRIGGER INSIDE. JUST HOT GLUE THAT ONTO THE GUN INSIDE SO THE SPRING DOESN'T FLY OUT INSIDE.

This was junk.. as soon as we got it, it broke. Not to mention, the first one we ordered the bag popped the seam on the side and we got an empty bag. Don't waste your money!

Might be my fault, but didn’t realize this was so small. Night for a Halloween costume and it’s kid sized

Initially gave 2 stars due to product quality but have updated to 5 stars because of the service I received from them due to a faulty product. So good to know that someone still values the consumer more than the dollar. While I will not order this item again, I will definitely be happy to order from and work with this company again due to their amazing service quality.**Original review**While I wasn't expecting a high quality product, I was at least expecting something a little more sturdy and better built for the cost. The trigger had already been pulled while in the package and the gun won't reset, rendering it essentially broken on arrival. Had I known the product quality was of a dollar store item I would have saved my money and skipper getting it as a prop, especially dice I didn't even get to pull the trigger on it myself.

It is exactly what I expected and wanted. The metal is very thin and bends easily but for the price it was expected. Makes a great occasional use gag prop. The flag is very large and bright, easy to fold back up too.

I bought this to use in my scene, as I thought it would add a lighthearted funny gag to a simple scare.Well, I haven't been able to use it at all just yet, because there are two metal rods at the bottom of the fabric flap which help it to roll down when shot. As soon as you shoot the gun, one of those tiny pieces flies out, then proceeds to camouflage itself in the flooring, causing a "Nobody move!" search and rescue situation. Until I figure out a good way to secure this piece in the fabric, this won't work at all.Also, be aware that it is very, very manual. You have to roll up the fabric, fold it in half, then insert it into the barrel before closing it, and hope that the clasp closes well enough that it doesn't go off on its own. So basically, even if you did use it within a haunted attraction, you'd need to save it for slow nights, and/or save it for that perfect group walking through. There is no way this could be used throughout the night, if only due to the set-up required prior to each "bang". Besides, even if the set-up was faster/easier, as cheaply as it's made, I doubt it would last through the night given how rough we haunters can be. I'm sure a child would break this within a day, if not within an hour.

I'm surprised that a ton of cosplayers and other people using this prop for a shoot left a bad review. Aren't yall supposed to be resourceful people? When you get this prop, just glue down the parts of the flag that arent quite right and steam the flag to make it look flat. this was a good value for $3-$4 and if you take a moment you can make it look exactly how you want.
