Great net at a decent price
Very well made net. Lightweight, and attaches to a loop on the back of the fishing vest. Magnet holds the net securely. Easy to get to and pull off from the magnet holder, then snaps back together easily, mostly 1-handed. Bought on the recommendation of a friend who has the same net. I use it for mostly for steelhead fishing. My only regret is I should have looked for one with a telescoping or longer handle to accommodate the length of my rod (10-1/2 foot). Not a fault of the PLUSINNO net.

Great fishing net
I am really pleased with this fishing net. It has been used only in a small fishing boat and is perfect for this. The folding mechanism is good and the entire net seems to be very sturdy and well made.

Functional but cumbersome
Good first-This is a great net for fish. The large holes are excellent for not tangling the hook or fish. My friend has a similar net with small rubber holes and each time a fish death rolls he has a mess.Bad-The fold feature is a joke. This net is not light either. Also, the net has a strong magnet and that connects to a clip for attaching to yourself or a backpack. Perks of that are it's easy to yank to unclip and scoop a fish. I've also had my friend pick up for me each time it unclips on a tree walking in the woods. I should have lost this net about 10 times already. Its a good net for the price. Heavy, wide, functional, likely to lose.

Bought as backup but it is SO GOOD I will use as main.
Ok. So this was a nice surprise. I got the squarish framed one. This thing is MUCH more well made than it looks in the photos. That middle hinge section connecting the handle section to the net hoop assembly is actually made of metal not plastic so once the plastic catch on the handle is slid in to the tapered channel in it, the interface is snug, not one bit of floppiness, the whole net is really sturdy and very lightweight. I initially bought this as a temporary net for a weekend trip while I looked for a higher end net but at this level of quality there is little reason to buy a “better” net. The netting material is also coated and soft and likely to be gentle on fish. These were my first impressions but after multiple trips and one incident I am convinced i don't need anything "better".As a testament to just how strong the frame is, and most definitely not something you want to test. On one of my trips I was walking a hooked fish to calmer waters with my rod and walking over sharp large granite boulders to get to the spot and had the net hooked to my back folded, I was not paying enough attention and fell between two large rocks and my upper back where the net was fastened landed on the sharp edge of a large rock.....So i practically had one foot on the forward rock, one leg hanging in the gap, and and my back on another rock. As I got up to inspect what i thought must surely be a broken net and a messed up back....i was so surprised to learn that not only was my back unscathed, I learned that the net was not broken, it only suffered a VERY minor scuff, no bend.STRONGLY recommended.

Compact
Bought for the mountain streams. It folds up nice into my backpack. Cool net for backcountry packing!

Square End Net
Great net for LMB out of my canoe. Handle folds for stowing away. It does have a bit of play when it is opened but other than that it’s a great net. I bought it for sub $20. A great net for the cost.

Decent net, but issues
It's a decent net and it's nice that it can be folded so it is compact, but when it is folded the handle always comes out, especially when I'm wading in the river and there's a current. I don't use the magnet in the handle anymore because the magnet came out of the handle and I dropped my net on the trail. I don't use the elastic on it either. I wish I could reverse the clip cause the way I carry it now makes it useless. I put a piece of paracord around the hoop at the top and attached the magnetic release (purchased separately) to the plastic attachment to my chest pack that goes around my neck. I just let the net handle hang down my back and sometimes I will tuck it into my wader belt. I only close the handle when I'm not using it. The hinge of the handle to the net seems durable and it's nice how easy it is to extend it, but I just don't use that much.

Good practical size, soft rubber mesh as advertised
Will update my review if this does not live up to expectations, but it looks good quality & a practical folding size as well. I had some old school fish landing nets with tied knots, but I think it is time to update to a more gentle way to land fish. A few years ago I hand bought another more fish friendly net that had a woven net, but quite frankly that was extremely annoying to use as the hooks would also go through the fabric/weave of the net. This looks like it won't have that problem.***Update to my review after using on a couple of fishing trips, most recently an 8 day camping & fishing trip. I definitely like this folding fishing net! Convenient for use in kayak, in a boat, & on shore, it feels like it is gentle on the fish & doesn't have the same problem of hooks getting annoyingly stuck like it does in my other fabric/mesh net. Good for landing reasonably sized fish, my dad caught a good sized Pike, which did rip a hole through the side of the net (tore a couple of the links), but I think that was really an extreme situation, big fish with sharp teeth! Otherwise was still OK landing fish even with the hole. If you're regularly catching monsters you should probably get a bigger net.

Sturdy, lightweight construction
Excellent quality, rubberised mesh, hand landing net ideal for my catch and release trout fishing. Sturdy, yet lightweight construction. Not field tested yet, but I’m confident it will perform well. I purchased a magnetic clasp for attaching to a loop on my fishing vest. Delivery to the UK from the US was speedy - highly recommended!

Super great net !
I love this little net, I had one before but I lost it in the woods so I bought another ! Good price considering those fancy wooden framed silicone nets can go over $100 CAD. It's small enough I can keep it attached to my vest and it doesn't get in the way too much. And it gets even better - i didn't know about the magnetic detaching feature at first and when I did discover it, it blew my mind lol. The magnet is pretty strong too, so it only detaches when you give it a good tug, or it gets hooked on a tree going through the woods which is what happened to my first net, but thats my own fault. GREAT NET !

Nice trout landing net
Nice fishing net. The handle is a little to short for landing comfortably but does the job for the price
