wanted something a little different to the usual white. perfect for sugarcraft flower modeling. good size too. i think the women at class will be wanting one soon.

Not fit for purpose
Very poor quality, it's impossible to remove paper that is stuck to board. Was going to return it but it is so much hassle to return and I have to pay for postage so it would probable cost me more then the thing is worth. Would not recommend and would not buy again from this company. Only gave one star as it arrived quickly but is of no use.

Needs an hour to clean off cover!
The board is great, just the job, but be aware that its coated in brown sticky paper front and back. Soaked the board for an hour expecting it to fall away but no, took an hour of peeling and rubbing to clean off.

Veining board
It came with brown paper stuck on it.Could not peel it off, so had to soak it and keep scrubbing it till it came off. If I hadn't needed it ergantly, I would of sent it back. No need for it to be on as there was a loose sheet of protection foam in the bag. Took a lot of time and energy.

Not sure what to say
As you can see in the picture, I'm having hard time peeling the brown sticky paper off the board. It's taking forever. I haven't used it and I needed to use it today.The buyer should add, you need to peel the brown paper off before use. I thought it was a white board and it was ready to be use. Waste of money.

Arrived covered with a brown paper sticker
The board its self is good, however, I had to spend upwards of two hours removing the 'protective' sticker on both sides on the board. It was extremely difficult to remove and I ended up having to use nail polish remover to get rid of the stickiness. It's OK but it's still slightly sticky.

Poor
Received about an hour ago. This is a poorly made item. It is clearly made cheaply. The paper covering on both sides is how the raw material is supplied to the manufacturing to protect the surface when cutting. The grooves are rough and unfinished. My husband is quite the handyman is going to try and smooth them out for me. If he can’t I hope he can find a use for it in his shed!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY: covered with sticky yellow paper difficult to remove
The plate is covered with protective yellow paper sheets on both sides (not shown in the product description), which are EXTREMELY STICKY and neither possible to peel off nor possible to become soft when soaked with hot water. In the end I have to use steel wire ball to scratch them away, which inevitably roughens and damages the surface slightly.Apparently the protective layer is supposed to protect the surface during the manufacturing process (e.g. cutting the grooves), but it should have been removed by the manufacturer. Honestly I bought this product because of the good Amazon ratings, but I am now wondering how can those views be authentic given such bad user experience.
