Great mat, just as shown. Large size. Reading the comments, I was a bit hesitant to order due to the complaints of the smell of the rubber. I did not notice much of a smell, and not even to the point where I felt as if I needed to air it out. I put it in the tub right after I opened it out of the plastic and only a mild smell of rubber and by the next day, couldn't smell anything at all. The other complaints I noticed were that it doesn't stick - I wonder if those who reviewed such didn't have a smooth surface porcelain tub as the listing suggests the product is only to be used with. The corners slip a tad if I but my toes under the mat and push, but the entire mat itself stays put very solidly and feel more than confident stepping in my tub and so do my kiddos! And its machine washable, they say! (I assume best to do in an industrial washer - and the color is nice and it is easy to wipe down to clean. I definitely prefer the rubber over the plastic mats. I recommend!

Very pleased with this product. Non slip, edges don’t curl and bottom is fairly soft to stand on. I bought a different make that literally tore in half when stepping out of tub! Love this one.

Bought this mat to make the bathtub safer for my less-than-surefooted 6-year-old. The mat is long enough and wide enough to cover the entire bottom of our tub. The suction cups always stick well (as long as you dampen them first, then push various suction cups down on the tub surface manually). We've used it for the past year, always hanging it up to dry after each bath, and it's never shown any signs of mold (it's great to have one less moldly thing to clean!). It was a little stinky for the first couple of weeks when it was new, but then I scrubbed it with a tub cleaner and that helped. It's not very comfortable to sit or kneel on for very long though... Probably not the best choice for a baby. After one year of use, it has suddenly started degrading and holes are forming around the edges. So if you're ok with only getting 1 year of use, and you aren't hoping to use this mat for a baby, I would definitely recommend it. It's been virtually maintenance-free and worked very well for us! I would buy it again!

This is the first product review I've ever written, but I just had to say that this is a fantastic product. I've used it every day since last December (over 4 months) and am so happy with my purchase! This mat is made of all-natural rubber: No exposing my toddler to the toxic chemicals found in some mats. It's 3-feet long: We have an older bathtub (i.e. small) and it covers most of the tub. I think it would still cover over half of a "regular" sized tube. It's sturdy: Because it's made of rubber, it feels more substantial than plastic bathtub mats. I can't imagine what it would take to ruin this mat! It stays clean: We live in a tropical area and our bathroom is always humid, but I have yet to have an issue with mildew with this mat (as opposed to others that get icky within days). The packaging notes that, if needed, you could put it in the washing machine. And most importantly, it REALLY sticks!: It's lined with suction cups on the bottom and it really stays put. (Every "dot" you see in the photo has a suction cup underneath). You don't have to mess with it to get it to stick, either, just throw it in the tub & you're set. I never have to worry about it slipping around when my toddler insists on standing up in the bath. As another reviewer noted, it did smell a little strong when first opened, but after a day it wasn't noticeable with ours. The quality is so much better than every other mat we've tried. I highly recommend it!

UPDATE MAY 2015: After about 18 months the suction cups began, one by one, to stick to the tub when I pulled the mat up, popping the cup out and leaving a hole in the mat where the cup was. 14 suction cups are now missing and there are 14 holes thru the top of the mat after almost two years of use. I'll keep using the mat which I had rated 5 stars until it no longer sticks to the tub, then get something else. There is clearly a manufacturing defect here---the mat (or at least the one I rec'd) doesn't hold up. I've used this mat for 10 days--it's the best I've ever used for safety in a shower over (iron) tub. The photo doesn't show that there is a very effective tread across on the entire top side of the mat between the raised bumps which mark the suction cups on the bottom. The tread goes all the way to the edge of the mat on all sides--there is no border on the top side, just tread to the edges, a v. sensible and effective design. Nice and long, and in a deep and pleasing blue. One reviewer reported that he tore the mat by trying to move it with his foot. It is not very thick, so I roll the edge back from the end one or two rolls when I pull it up after a shower. We'll see how it holds up, but for the moment I can say that I really got my $$$'s worth.

I have bought several of these over the years normally from Bed, Bath and Beyond, but since their closing I found the exact one on Amazon. They can get thrashed after a few years of use and several machine washings, so it's nice to have a fresh clean one. Even though my tub has an enamel coating because it's so old, it still helps me feel safe from slipping ( I always test it first to make sure it doesn't slip before I get in just in case). It is actually a very, very light grey. Good length. Highly recommend. Enjoy.

I had ordered this for the shower, I have a corner show and it fits perfectly. You can tell it will last a while, it seems to be of a very good quality.

Well: It looks good 'n' navy, it fit's the bath well & I haven't slipped yet so I would say it's an outright success as far as bath mats go!

Anfangs begeistert. Schöne Matte mit einem satten Blau. Nach einem hat die Matte mehrere Verfärbungen (hellblau), was nach dem kurzen Zeitraum sehr ärgerlich ist.

Arrived very quickly. Works excellent for use with my wiggly 9 month old at bath time. Stays put and didn't come with a plastic smell.
