Was looking for a spare chess game for my son to travel with. This is perfect the price.

Nice set great for kids

Seems cheap but it works well for a addicted chess player like me. Nice.

Lightweight basic plastic pieces and are easily toppled by a stray touch. Board is folded into 4 parts and this makes it floppy if attempting to play on an uneven makeshift space. You'll need to place it on solid flat surface, not grass friendly. You get what you pay for. Overall, for this price point, it's good.

The board is pretty flimsy and the pieces are very lightweight plastic. As an avid chess player, not my favorite. It is fine to offer in a small game library for guests, however. Definitely wouldn't be gutted if a piece went missing.

My 7 yr old got interested in Chess recently and this board game is not heavy and firm with great quality of playing pegs.

Perfect chess games for beginners like kids

The cost is decent, but the chess board fell apart on all three of these I purchased to teach a chess class. The board comes folded into quarters to fit in the small box. Not worth the money.

Good considering price

We started a chess club here in this remote little village just below where the boreal forest starts in Canada. The price, durability and functionality of these chess sets have been much appreciated by all of us.

I would have done better to make this myself. Really Chessy looking set. Should have returned it.
