Greeting Card Factory Deluxe

Greeting Card Factory 8 Deluxe is a great card program. I had wanted to upgrade to a newprogram and this has all the bells and whistles I need. I love the fact that as you work you can see the other pages by clicking on the front, middle and back tabs and see how they work with what you are working on. The graphics are fantastic and quanitity of them far exceeds my expectations. The sentiments are equally good and are divided into three catagories, straightforward, cute, humorous, and religious. You can see all of them or just that catergory. The search for the designs is good too. I have had no trouble working in this program. The print set up was easy and it comes with a manual which is easy to read and very helpful. The fonts are equally extensive as well. I have had no problem working in this program and highly recommend it. Novices will have no problem making a card that they will be proud to send. It does have a photo editing feature but have not used it. I looked at the reviews this was rated 4th only because it was just a card program and it said if there were more bells and whistles features it would have been rated higher. Their comments were if you are just looking for a card program this is a super package. I heartly agree!

it's good for basic cardmaking, but I would prefer a more varied and upscale clip art section. I did my christmas cards but much of the clipart was silly or tacky. Some other desktop pub. kits have genuine artwork reproductions which make for a nicer finish.

I have been trying different Greeting Card Software for some time and have the following programs installed on my computer at this time:American Greeting CreataCard Plus 4.American Greeting PRINT! Premium 2.Hallmark Card Studio 2009( Have renewed since 2004). Will not renew again.Hallmark Comedy Card Studio.Printmaster Platinum 2.0.Card Builder from Pearl Mountain.Greeting Card Studio.Greeting Card Factory is the best yet. It has all of the features you find on the other programs plus it offers plenty of templates for every occasion. It is the most intuitive program and has plenty of clip art, sentiments and photos. It allows you to alter the printing on the front of the card as well as the verse inside. One of the best features is the ability to control the size of the thumbnail to choose your template. All of the other programs only offer you a small thumbnail to pick the template you want but Greeting Card Factory allows you to enlarge the selections so you can actually read what is on the card as you are making your selection. Much better than switching back and forth till you get the template you want.

I bought this program to replace a microsoft greeting card program that I loved, as my old one couldn't be used with my new Windows 7 operating system. At first I was disappointed, until I found all the things I could do with the features, to make my own greetings. Now I love what I can do.I have not been able to find a way to change the printing properties for the use of glossy or matt paper or even transparencies. I know I can put it to "Best"...but that doesn't seem to do it for me. Maybe the company would consider an upgrade or a free download to improve its printing. For me, with an improvement in the print quality I would change my rating to a 5.Now I have mostly been using the cards I make to "snip out" and send along via e-mail as I have found that sometimes the electronic greetings do not get sent via the software.A big plus for the manufacturer of this program is the inclusion of a written instruction manual. Also the [...] rebate that comes along in the package that I was aware of before my purchase.If anyone knows a way to improve printing quality...please let me know.

This is a great product. I had no problem installing it on my computer which has Windows XP. I was worried due to some of the other reviews, but it installed with no problems. I have made several birthday cards as well as other occasion cards already and they are really great. There is a HUGE selection of cards as well as other types of things to make with this software. This is really great and I am glad I decided to go ahead and purchase it.

I purchased Greeting Card Factory 8 based on the reviews I'd read on Amazon but I've got to say I'm quite disappointed. I've used other card programs and have had a few I liked so I'm not a novice. I ha¬-ve several different models of printers (some old some new) and none of them will print correctly with this product. After doing the set up steps for calibrating your printer to the product every one of them behaves exactly opposite of what they should. Envelopes are impossible unless you want to waste a whole bunch of time throwing away material to see where the program is going to set your print. Cards are another issue. They print backward after calibrating. Be ready for this as you'll be throwing away paper and ink figuring it out. Also when I tried to import photos to cards the program tells me I'm out of memory. Are you ready for this? I have 24 gigabytes of memory and the computer is new so there are no other resources sucking up that much ram. I didn't bother contacting the company as it looks like from the reviews others have tried with little luck. I'd also like to add that my printers all perform fairly well in quality until this product and I've had some pretty mediocre end results. I will say there is a good selection of material in the product and if you could use it all without any of the aforementioned problems it would be quite an impressive program. Congratulations to everyone who has had good luck with this product. I'm running Win7 Pro and had my computer built in November 2010 with plenty of resources to accommodate new programs so this isn't the issue. Greeting Card Factory 8 is a real dud.

I had some problems with my dvd. sorry about the other review the cd download ok. every thing looks good right now have not used it much yet but if there are any problems i will come back and update this review.it is a little hard to use based on others I have used. that is why I gave it 3 stars.
