Little disapointed that I cannot install and play games on steam with this laptop. My brother was also hopping for a built in cd/dvd player.

a bit slow
The computer works OK but it's a bit slow. Still, for $70 what did I expect? But it's ok. Ok.Really, it is.

Buy a new one and not refurbished. I had a hard time removing the original owner.
<<Buy a New One>> One can wipe it, but it still wants to use the original owners account. Google accounts are a convience but for buy refurb recyclers, this could be a headache. It is possible to remove the other user, but it is a pain. Other than that, if bought new, highly recommended for a basic school device. Not many customization options. Not a touchscreen. No ethernet port just wireless.Purchased for school and to try out Chromebooks.

I'm impressed
After reading the mixed reviews I ordered the item anyway knowing that with Amazon's return/refund policy it wouldn't be a problem if there was an issue. I've returned items before and never had a problem.WOW! I received it last night, three days early. I expected a (renewed) chromebook, but if it was renewed I couldn't tell. It was as new as new can get. The price was great, took 5 minutes to set up, it took about an hour to charge, and it's good to go. Easy for an old guy with dementia to figure out. SO FAR<>SO GOOD, I'll update this review as time goes on and I learn the possibilities of this "new to me" gadget/ gizmo/ widget/Chromebook. I'm impressed and it's a hell of an upgrade to my windows 7 desktop.Yes, at this point I'd buy it again and will recommend it.

Do not purchase if you want it for prime video
Nice little unit but does not have the software to run prime video or Netflix, tried downloading but to no avail.
