Treasure X King's Gold Treasure Tomb, Multicolored

My son has one of the robot sets and begged for this for Christmas. He loved the thrill of opening each piece and discovering what treasure was inside. While the main thrill is the “unboxing”, the play set is sturdy and has had him playing with it a number of times since Christmas.

My son has been wanting this forever and was so happy to receive it. He loved unwrapping all the pieces and putting it together. There are many small pieces that are easily lost, so we just used a small ziploc to hold everything together.

I never write reviews. But this toy was such a huge hit with my 6 year old that I have to say that if you’re on the fence because it’s a bit pricey and only includes one character, don’t hesitate. My son was so excited when he got it and HOURS of happy play resulted. Honestly worth the investment. Things to know beforehand:The glasses have to be smashed off and pushing the eyes to release and open is tough, probably better for someone with strong hands.The traps and puzzles are strapped with elastics that need to be removed before you can solve the puzzles.It includes the king and two guard minions only.Once the eyes are revealed and the tomb opened, those pieces are permanently completed and can’t be redone.Best to have a parent help if the kid is younger than 8.

I am not sure what it is all about, but my grandson spends hours with it and was delighted when he received it.

Disappointed by the fact that the characters do not come with it. Price sure would make yo believe it would! Grandson was very disappointed with no characters but had a good time searching through everything. As for the blue goop, my granddaughter loved the stuff and wants more. I was wondering if it could be bought separately. They have magnetic sand but she liked the gravel feel. We did not notice any staining. I loved how it stuck to nothing and left no sticky feel on your hands. Sad to say, like most toys today, once grandson got through the whole tomb and found his treasure, the interest died out quickly. He does have a few characters from the little Treasure X boxes but not enough to really make this a fun playset. He is 10. So all-in-all, fun it was while it lasted but could be very expensive to add more characters to keep an interest in this tomb. Way too expensive for what you actually get.

My grandson asked for this for Christmas. He saw An advertisement video on his tablet. He was so excited when he opened it! He knew just what to do. Ha ha mom was trying to read the directions and he was just showing her how it’s done! Super fun toy! The refills are a little spendy for the creatures. But it’s worth it! And my daughter was able to stuff the creature back in the container with the floam-like material After he was done playing with it and put the lid on it so he could dig it out again next time he plays with it!

Grandson absolutely loves this item, would buy again for smaller ones when they get a little older.Anything for the babies, well worth the money, hours of fun for kids !!

I love this toy!!!! Just to open it you have to dig into the skull eyes and find the buttons to push to expand the toy. It has sticker instructions for all 8 little surprises inside plus when u finally get to the gold safe coins literally popped out! I had so much fun opening this with my son I want to buy another one so my husband can open it with him!However if you don’t like mess I don’t recommend it. The surprises make you dig into a sticky blue sand but for sensory gifts it super fun! Plus the spooky creature that go with it are fun!Highly recommend!!!!
