Frog (Manga) Paperback – December 18, 2018

First time I have read this author, but big fan of BL manga...this sounded different so I gave it a try. Its cute and funny and sad and happy and sexy and.....did I say funny. I have read it and reread it...I just really liked it. The illustrations were very good. You have to like comic book like set up...this is not a novel its manga.

mary calmes is in my top 5 most favorite writers!frog is my favorite single story,stand alone novel of hers.i was so excited to learn it was coming out in paperback and pre-ordered it.i got it,opened it and its a comic book!pictures and bubbles and all.i have to say i don't like my reading in this format.so be warned-this is in a comic book format.otherwise its a beautiful,heartfelt love story.

This is one of my favorite books (audiobooks), and I was very happy to see that it had a graphic novel. The only problem I have with it is that for a lot of these books (m/m books being adapted this way) they seem to do the sound effects and whatnot very oddly. Like blatantly says "DOOR OPENS" or "SITS DOWN" instead of indicating it in a more natural, less distracting way. Just a heads up for future reference, I assume a lot of the people who would purchase a book in this format are probably familiar with manga or comics in some fashion. We understand how sound effects and drawn movements work without needing it to be blatantly described. All it did was pull me out of my enjoyment whenever it happened.Other than that, pretty well done!

gave it to someone as a gift, and I got a lovely thank you card for the porn. lol. ok, it was just a love scene, but they didnt hold back in that brief scene! lol!

I am a HUGE Mary Calmes fan. When I found out one of her books was being turned into manga, I jumped at the chance to own it. The artwork is beautiful. It lends a different quality to a book I already loved. I can’t regret owning this book.

I love manga and I love Mary Calmed stories. I hope more of her wonderful stories are drawn out like this as well. Loved it.

yay! im so happy to get this. this is one of my favorite books. the art is nice and though it reminds you of a manga, it reads front to back like an american book lol

I loved the regular book and the graphic novel is even better. It is the same story I loved with amazing graphics to go with it

A wonderful adaptation from the original book. Look forward to seeing more like this.
