They feel great
I had mine installed and I love them, they itched for a couple of days and had loose strands but once I started working with them they feel like natural, going to get them reinforced next week. I love my dreads

Great looking! Not an easy install
The media could not be loaded. Hey everyone ☺️ For the price, length, and look I'd give it an overall 4/5. I do have a few thoughts and feelings, however. My biggest issue was the install procces. The loops are fairly uneven in size and use some stretching to get big enough to thread the hair through in order to braid, and the synthetic hair would fray at the loops because of poor crafstmanship leading to me having to DIY trim many of them to ensure I wasn't braiding them in poorly. My hair is only a short mullet, bowl cut length since I had shaved my head six months prior, adding to the difficulty in installation on my part haha. It took about eight hours in total to install two packs (I used 37 out of 40) with help from my husband, and I do recommend boiling them beforehand. I made the mistake of letting one sit a little too long and it quickly got curly and crispy so watch out!!However, once they were in, OMG. 🥵 I look so good!! They're a little heavy, definitely take some adjustment with sleeping, but I feel like the look of the dreads as a whole is so worth any of the inconveniences of feeling like you're permanently wearing a big funny hat. 🤣 They got softer and less stiff for sure after I boiled them, so that's a MUST!!I do recommend for first time dread owners, but please if you have to money get DE!! SE dreads are so much more difficult to install. Yeeeesh!

If you have sensitive skin would not recommend
The quality was ok, but for a beginner dread lock extension it’s a great price!! Unfortunately these gave me hives all over my scalp. But I have sensitive skin, so for people like me I wouldn’t recommend but if you don’t have sensitive skin I would highly recommend

Overall, great
For beginners, like myself I highly recommend these. When you get them please boil them for 30 second intervals. And then make sure you use a hair dryer!! I had split black and red hair before I got these and so I ordered the black and red. The red is SUPER bright and my hair was more of a maroon. But I still think they look good. I chose to leave my bangs out and I love it. Please, if you have a friend who can braid ask for help. My arms are sore and my fingers hurt. But overall I love these. Like I said I bough 2 packs of 20. (40 total) I used all 40. I would've liked more because they are a little thin and I personally like the look of more locks. They are a bit heavy at first and weird to sleep in. But after the first night you get used to themAgain, highly recommend.

Really great for what you pay
You cant buy $30 synthetic dreads and think you're gonna get perfectly rolled silk locks. We got two 20 packs and after one entire head & 2 accent dreads on the 2nd head, theres 3 strands left. I was happy with the package contents - hook & beads in each set, everything was safe and barely dented for being folded in half. Now, I'm not too well versed in dread extensions in general but since I got myself a couple handmade wool dread sets off etsy, my 9&4 year olds wanted dreads too. I didnt want to spend another arm and leg for a set for them to share, these came to the rescue!!! I was almost worried they would be too fat since I prefer thinner ones on myself but they were thinner than expected and squishy so it was a good surprise. Synthetic is always gonna be a little stiff but it wasnt as bad as everyone in the reviews made it out to be, I didnt even feel it necessary to boil them, they will get floppier with wear. The ends havent unravelled at all and the girls like combing the last 2-3 inches like barbie hair lol. The dreads were easy to install and even though the loops were a little messy on a few, they worked like a charm. They LOVE them!!Review from the 9 year old: "really cool, for plastic hair is super pretty" 😂😂😂

I like them
They are still new in my hair so they haven’t had time to soften. I boiled them for 30 seconds before installing. A bit heavy but I like them. Also I got a pack with one missing :( I had to cut them because they were so heavy. Wish I had ordered some with black ends so my hair could seamlessly blend with the locks.

Beautiful but the color is off.
I love them, my only question is that can I dye them with henna? I feel that the ombré look it’s not right and I wanna go to my natural ginger orange hair color. I did have to put them in boiling water for 30 seconds to get more of a natural look. They were also to long and they came in a pack of 12 I have 13 partial Dreadlocks and I just cut them and put them down in with a dreadlock crochet hook. 7.5mm hook. Took me 3 hours to get them in but they are in and very sturdy. I also took my straightener and light hearted up my locks to permanently keep them locked up. Did the ends too. I don’t recommend doing it unless your prepared to screw them up… lol I’m all I love them worth the buy.

Could be my fault.
I did my best and followed all the internet's instructions and when I finished installing these they looked nothing like the photos. I boiled them a bit to try and make them soft but that didn't really work. It took three hours to install them and by the time I was finished I was exhausted. I slept in them and that was an awful night. So itchy and uncomfortable. I removed them all the next morning. I still have them. I do wonder if I just didn't do that well with the installation. But the itchiness and the heavy feeling weren't my fault.

Not bad
Dreads are not bad but not great ether. Listing said 20in and mine was shy of 15in and when I boiled them to seal/soften they shrunk to 14in. Very stiff even after trying to soften I’m hoping wear will soften over time.

Perfect
I love that they came in a package that wasn’t folded so they didn’t have a big kink. Super easy to install and not stiff at all (seriously, you are getting fake dreads. Don’t imagine they will be soft). The colour is great and just what I wanted and what the picture showed. I am going to buy some more for sure

I could make more realistic dreads with a Halloween wig!
These looked like crinkled, shiny light purple plastic wool and not fit for purpose. Save your money!
