I bought this product because in the summertime, I can't hear my TV well when the fans and window a/c unit are on.Please note: I am not a connoisseur of audio. I didn't expect high-fidelity stereo, "surround sound" or anything fancy from this unit. This soundbar is very basic and does not deliver any of these things.Finding the right level of sound output on your on-screen TV controls is essential to getting the best quality sound out of this unit. Find the baseline sound level on your TV that the soundbar is "comfortable" with and then raise or lower the volume via the soundbar controls. Otherwise the sound gets "buzzy" and muddy. It's weird. But once you set your TV volume to the volume level the soundbar "likes," you can raise or lower the volume on the soundbar without issues.Again, if you're looking for high-quality audio for music and movie watching, this unit is probably not for you. But if you're tired of not being able to hear TV characters on cop shows when they whisper, this might be a very inexpensive solution for you.

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but this is a true example of "you get what you pay for". I was hoping to use this an outdoor speaker for movie nights on a blow up projector screen. However, the sound that it produces is not at all what I was expecting based on the other reviews. There is no bass at all and no way to adjust the setting. When turned up towards full power, it became muffled and not clear. Overall, if you want to use this in a small bedroom to watch shows you may say it is OK, but if you are expecting anything more you will be disappointed. Looking for another soundbar with more power and quality. .

if you plug or unplug anything, the power or the mic cord, it says in a very loud voice 'line in mode!!!' or whatever mode it is. You can turn the sound down but the actual sound is low at such a volume. So in order to hear this thing I have to have it up high. If the battery is low then it will shout out that it has a low battery. Really should not be any sort of voice like this, it's so stupid. But it works as expected. Honestly would not have bought if i knew it was so annoying with this voice.edit: started humming and became useless after very, very little usage. I turn my tv on maybe once per 3 months and this speaker has broken already only a year later. Replaced with a very simple speaker that you just plug in, no annoying voice, no lag, no complicated electronics, just a simple plug and play. I suggest you go with that instead of this thing.

I mounted this with a strip of Velcro to the bottom edge of a small TV because the integral TV sound was not good at all. I wasn't looking for 7.2 surround, just wanted to enjoy YouTube music videos and be able to hear speech more clearly. This little sound bar does a great job of that. Here's a hopefully helpful tip: If you have a FireTV stick connected to your TV, you can connect this sound bar to the TV via Blue Tooth even if the TV itself doesn't have Blue Tooth. Just go into the "settings" of the FireTV stick with the FireTV remote and connect to the sound bar there, not through "settings" on the TV itself with the TV remote. No need to use the 3.5 cable this way. Very pleased with this purchase.

I'm going to list the things that I like and don't like about this product.Pros:-It's a great size-It gets really loudCons:-I brought this solely for my TV and when there is a loud scene is going on, the speaker sounds awful. I don't know the exact word for this but it sounds like when you max your volume limit and can't really make out what is said. And this happens on the third volume increase.-The remote looks, feels and is cheap. I have to double press when increasing/decreasing the volume. There is a serious remote to speaker response lag.-There is NO BASS.

After just a few months of use 2 things happened.1. aux port broke for no reason: I had been using this via the 1/8" aux port. I had to unplug the cable one day and the actual port fell inside the device and I wasn't able to get the cable to plug back in.2. bluetooth sketchy at best: I was using it in conjunction with an apple TV HD and when I realized I couldn't get the aux plugged back in I decided to use it via bluetooth. This worked fine initially although the volume via bluetooth was significantly quieter than via aux for some reason, but after I had been watching tv for about 15 minutes the sound just stopped. I had to reboot the device to get it to start working via bluetooth again. I figured it was just a glitch, but it kept occurring every 15 minutes or so.

Micro SD card will not stay in slot so that feature is useless. It does work if you hold the card in with your finger.Would be nice if it worked but not a deal breaker for me. Second bad feature is when pressing volume up on the remote it PING's loudly as long as you press button. VERY ANNOYING. Other then that this is a great sound bar. Sound quality is about the same as FM music on your automobile radio. Over all quality is very good. The sound quality is very good. I have it connected to a 32" TCL(roku)tv witch I use mostly as a computer monitor. Movie's sound is much better as is music (MP3's). I would buy again or try the new upgraded version.

Overall this is surprisingly very good for the cost. I bought it to add sound to my speaker-less monitor. It fits snugly under the screen. The sound quality is pretty good for a speaker this cheap. My PS4 USB port powers the device just fine. I only have a couple complaints.1) Maybe instead of a useless microphone, spend that money to include 2 AAA batteries for the remote.2) The LED on the front forever blinks while it's on, which can be distracting in a TV-like setup where the light blinks right under the screen. Very strange design choice. Not a big deal though in the end.However, I still give this product a 5 star rating because I believe this is a good purchase and it is probably one of the best speakers you can find for this price right now.Note: I have not tried the bluetooth, so I cannot comment on the quality of that.
