What if no one ever failed?
I really enjoyed this story. It takes you into a world where no one ever failed at anything and you quickly learn that the world would not be as advanced or developed as it is today. People may not try as hard, fearing they would fail or make mistakes. They could not have invented advanced technology like refrigerators or TV on the first attempt. It teaches children an important lesson in perseverance, accepting and growing from failures, rather than seeing failure as a negative thing. Many people have a fear of failure which is preventing them from trying or attempting something new. This story helps to shift this mindset into seeing the more positive side of failure. Not trying is worse than failing! Highly recommend this for all ages and this would be a great tool to teach and encourage children to always try even if it means they may not always be perfect or achieve their goal.

A World Without Failures is a wonderful book that teaches not to be afraid of failing. David is a little boy who falls asleep and dreams he's in a world without failure, therefore he never has to make an effort to better himself. But David soon learns that without failure, there is no progress and nothing has been invented... including the TV. Not liking the world he imagines, David is happy when his dad wakes him and decides that it's okay to make mistakes and fail because that's how he will learn. A great message that kids need to hear.

A World without failure
A world without failures is it world with nothing at all! In order to learn, to change, and to grow we have to be willing to make mistakes or fail.

One for the whole family
David hates feeling like a failure, and so he starts to dream, configuring a world where failures don't exist. As a result, he finds that a lot of things is missing in his new world, and he soon starts to feel frightened and alone. It appears to David that a world without failure is a lot more difficult to contend with and certainly more difficult to exist in than the world he wanted to change. There are quite a few lessons to learn in this book that I believe is relevant for all ages. There were a few quotes that really summed up the book and the overall theme. One I really liked was, in David's own words: "Not trying is much worse than failing". A good read that I recommend for the whole family.

Needed message
Normalize what it is to be human and try again and feel safe to make mistakes. My 6 year old very much enjoyed the book and the questions. Highly recommend.

A message all kids need to learn
I was so happy I got this book. The message is such an important one and it is easier to explain it to kids using a book. The discussion starter at the end really helped. This will become an important addition to any personal or school library.

A Book with Failures
Without even getting into the whole cat poop thing (what kid would not be distracted by that??!?), the copy I received of this book was, ironically, a fail. About ten pages in, the first ten pages were bound in again—so I got to see cat poop twice—same duplication for the end of the book as in my photo. My bigger complaint is that it’s poorly written, has spelling errors (“David looked down and saw his cloths [sic] had changed! Now he was really frightened.”), talks about the world as a scary place, and labels common kid experiences like missing a soccer goal as failures. (What??!?).Will be returning. Can’t see any age I would use this book with.

Bizarre but it ok
This plot line is weird and a little sci-fi? Held my 6 year old’s attention for probably 2-3 reads and then he was done.

A wonderful little book
I loved this story. It teaches kids an essential lesson, one which even adults need to be reminded of sometimes. The drawings were quite nice as well.I would love it if this book was available in Romanian as well. I am looking to gift it to my cousin's kids in the future and they don't speak English yet.Looking forward to check out more books by the author.Highly recommend reading this book.

A beautifully illustrated story that teaches kids it's ok to fail sometimes
This children's book, with beautiful illustrations by Maima W Adiputri, teaches about the value of failing, and how nothing would be achieved without some failures along the way. It's a great way to show children that, and to promote perseverance, and its fabulous combination of sweet story and lovely pictures really does provide a gorgeous book that children will enjoy.

Kindle version missing pages
The kindle version ends with David really frightened. The rest of the story is missing. Please fix this as customers have paid for the book and aren't getting the whole thing!
