This is an excellent reading lamp. Especially for my aged father. Very easy to maneuver and to turn off and on.

This went together simply with no trouble; I left one section of the screw-together pole out so it would be a bit shorter and work well at my puzzle table. The base is just the right amount of weight for stability but is easy to pick up and move. Love the swing arm and adjustability; you can position it however needed to avoid glare on your project. The top and middle joints have little plastic "screws" that help with adjusting; if I could change one thing it would be that the one for the head would stay tighter by itself, as I have to tighten it again whenever I adjust the top joint (the middle one stays tight even moved). The lamp head moves side to side as well as up and down. There's a bit of wobble in the pole if bumped (3-5 degrees) but it's otherwise sturdy. The color is a nice brushed brass and could fit in pretty much any decorating scheme, the shapes are simple and elegant. The rocker switch is easy to reach.

I really have no dislikes regarding this lamp. It's esthetically pleasing in appearance and the base is heavy and solid. It sits between mine and my wife's chairs and we're able to position it to where we need it if one of us is reading....or crocheting....or clipping our fingernails...or trying to tighten that dumb microscopic screw in our eyeglasses...sorry TMI. Great value for what you're getting. I've purchased two of these for my elderly mother and she uses them at her puzzle table and when she's coloring and reading. She even put one of them together herself. She loves them.

The brass version of this floor standing "desk" lamp looks great and it very sturdy. The base is heavy, wide and snug so the lamp doesn't tilt and wave and try to fall over like some fIoor lamps I've bought. Notice that only one of the rods is threaded to screw into the base. Don't force it if it doesn't thread right. The only gripe I have is for the flaky, crumbly styrofoam packing which gets all over when you unpack it, which requires cutting the tough tape on both sides of the foam to remove the parts and the base on the bottom. You might want to open the box outdoors.

As others have mentioned, it is beautiful, the base is solid, it assembles quickly & easily, the arm works well, BUT that copper piece that joins the upper arm to the base is very thin and seems ready to break simply due to the weight of arm. However, I am happy with it overall and not terribly concerned as it is for an office and will not be pulled on or moved a lot. The price point is fair and reflective of the quality.

This is a quality lamp. But be aware the shade is short, so if you are using a longer bulb it sticks out past shade edge and shade doesnt cut off light spread.

El material con la que está construida es de muy buena calidad, el armado bastante solido, funcional y le da un toque clásico al espacio donde se coloque. El único pero es que las perillas con las que fijas el brazo son de plástico, tienes que apretar con fuerza porque de otra manera la campana se mueve con cualquier movimiento, pero una vez que lo fijas fuerte ya no se mueve, espero que con el tiempo no se desgaste el plástico, sería una pena ya que la lámpara en general es de lo mejor.

Excelente lámpara, muy fácil de armar y decora cualquier espacio.

Buen material, la extensión del brazo es un poco reducida, ya se me cayó y ningún daño
