My new custom dash has all 8000 series Equus gauges. This includes a speedometer, boost gauge, tachometer, oil pressure, water temp, voltage, and fuel level. I love the look and the quality is amazing for the price you pay. The only downside of this gauge in particular is the connection at the back. It's fragile. The line and tube have ether gas in it. If it breaks or if the line pops out, the gauge becomes junk. It happened to me by accident. Just be careful and you will have a more accurate mechanical water temp gauge than any electrical sender could ever dream of.

Better than stock temp gauge in my 1988 sierra, but the gauge is sticking really bad. Truck is off and wiggling it around doesnt do anything. Bought this gauge when it was expensive and not really worth it anymore

lead from the sensor is delicate so take extra precautions it doesn't get damaged leaving gage useless

Super easy to instal and works well. I have this on my 84 Chevy k10 to replace all the old looking gauges. They fit really well in the hole and tight but the screw that holds it in place hits against the inside of the dash so I had to put a price of take on it to keep it in place. It's tight in the hole so it won't move to begin with but I wanted to make so it didn't pop out. Lights a bright and easy to read day or night. Very happy with all the lights equus lights I've put on the truck. Some people say they are junk, I've never had a problem with any of their light I have on my trucks.

This is a replacement item. Easy install, but beware of cable connection into gauge. Received quickly ... not sure why it would be packed with an anti-theft sensor on outside of box. First time I have seen this after hundreds of orders.
