This type is the best
I used a combination of this type and “the other type” with the long screw. My expectations were not so good for this type. Thing is, you buy the “hidden” hanging hardware so that it is not seen. The type with the longer screw is visible, especially in a ranch home. The type with the long screw also deforms. I ended up really liking this type. The metal is heavier and seems much more secure and durable. Just make sure before lifting the gutter that the outter lip is engaged. When you pick up your gutter at the big box stores the lip maybe collapsed because of shipping or handling. Take time to properly engage the lip with your hanger.

Firms braces with longer screws
Braces are reasonably firm. The screws they send are longer than my originals. Many of my older braces were loose due to short screws. The longer screws made a fresh bite into facia wood.
