Worth the wait
Due to corona, the order took over two months. During which I found myself getting really into ww2 and the pacific theatre. However, the kit itself is superb. I am genuinely impressed with the amount of detail in this 1/72 scale zero. In comparison to the f6f hellcat from hasegawa (which is still a very clean model), it is much more intricate and advanced. I love it!

Well Done Model
Having collected many models of different types ad scales this one was without disappointment. For a small scale model this is well detailed and fits right in with other airplane models i have. There's even a pilot, which most don't have. .

Fantastic kit
My first experience with Tamiya kits and certainly not my last. Fantastic molding, detail, fit, and absolutely no flash or defects. An aftermarket paint mask helps with the canopy, which is satisfyingly thin. I would highly recommend the kit, but I would recommend not following the paint callouts, instead doing your own research as Tamiya seems to have simplified it to match their paint library.

Good kit, but the decals fell apart
Really fun to build but the decals were terrible, thankfully I was able to get the most identifiable ones onto the plane but the larger decals either ripped immediately, or became brittle as soon as they got onto the plane and crinkled up, so instead of having a boring and incorrect looking plane, it’s now being showcased in a dogfight. Would liked to have had the correct decals on it though… now I’m a little weary of using Tamiya kits/decals.

Quality product and challenging.
The parts fit very well compared to Academy kits. Decals aren't shiny like other brands. I'd get this brand again.

Decent Quality for the price. Clean parts and fit. Most of these kits in this class I would call weekend kits. They are not too complicated to build.

Modellino acquistato per regalo a mio figlio,bravo nelle costruzioni(eta'13 anni) ma questo modellino presentava dei pezzi piccolissimi con una descrizione pessima inoltre gli adesivi a corredo dell'aereo erano talmente vecchi che non si attaccano piu', pessima esperienza...e delusione da chi ha ricevuto il regalo
