Magic Eraser Original, 6 Count

I have been a HUGE fan of Magic Erasers for many years. Mr. Clean is a marvel, there have been only a couple of times in more than a decade where he failed to do the job I asked him to do. These erasers have been a great help to me and I will never be without them in my home. A few tricks I have learned over the years: 1. Using glass or all-purpose cleaner to damped the area can be better than water if the crud is greasy. 2. Because they crush and darken as they are used, I usually tear off a piece to clean the blackened stuff burned onto the oven or stove then toss that piece into the trash when I am done. That way the remainder of the sponge stays white and clean until I need it for something else. 3.Do not use on vinyl flooring to remove heel marks. It works really well on all other floor surfaces, and actually it also works on vinyl too but it leaves a dull finish wherever it touches. 4. Most things come off quickly & easily. It is better to use a little more time than more pressure on really tough stains. 5. A final wipe with a damp cloth or paper towel leaves a surface looking like the stain never happened. 6. I cannot tell a difference between the original and the "EXTRA POWER" version except for the shape. I buy whichever is the better deal.

Whenever people without kids hear about the mischief that toddlers get into, they make comments about how it's the parent's fault for not properly supervising their child's every waking moment. The truth is, if you have only one child, don't work outside the home, hardly sleep, and never shower, it might be possible to monitor your child in such a fashion as to avoid any possible calamity. It really doesn't take more than a couple of minutes for a two year old to notice that Mom is busy talking to the person at the front door, and seize the opportunity to grab the markers/crayons that the older kids are using for art class, head up the stairs, and create a mural on the wall. Two minutes later, Mom calls out for said child, and he comes down the stairs with a guilty expression. "I'm not doing any-sing." "Where are you not doing anything?" "I'll show you." The guilty expression is then replaced by one of excitement and pride in his accomplishment. "See Mom. I made it." Wonderful. These are for just such occasions.

I always have a few of these in my cabinets for tough spots and will always continue to buy them because they are truly magic. The only thing that keeps it from a five star for me is that they seem to start to fall apart pretty easily. I keep the large chunks going when I can because they are such a big help and I hate to waste.

These are great at cleaning just about anything with minimal elbow grease necessary. I’ve used them mainly on crayon, marker and pen ink, and some food coloring that had spilled and dried before I noticed it. Recently, I had given up on getting some rust stains off of my wall (long story) without repainting the entire room when my mother, who attacks cleaning with a passion, told me to try these. It wiped off in minutes. They last for enough time to be a good value and I like that no other sprays or products are needed. Just add a little water and voila!

I fell in love with Mr. Clean as a little girl. Who doesn't like a big happy jinn in a bottle? The magic eraser is a product that should be in every families cleaning bucket. Just a little water, a wee bit of elbow grease, and marks that were once seen as permanent, magically disappear. While it isn't magic, it is a truly great product. Note: these sponges are not to be used on the skin. Using them on skin can result in burns. keep out of the reach of children who might mistake them for mom's make up sponges.
